I love a bookstore! There is just something about them. Enjoyed looking around there was a cute Christmas tree made of books! The lady working was quick and helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. I will be back!

Pleasantly surprised, so cute, unpretentious -- well comfy (inside the store) and the girl was so cheery with keen insight to the authors and series of Sci-fi etc. COMPLEEETLY ! opposite of some other book store that ... well it seemed like it was a pain for them to even help you, just sad. Aaaanyway, overall an excellent experience, THEY HAD THE RARE BRITISH BOOKS I NEEDED and finding them was ... well just efficient and quick as she knew right where they were. SO NICE ! indeed.

THE BEST, efficient and insightful, just like the kidman girl. So nice there's at least one used book store in Yakima. I went in with a stack of books and most were accepted. I was able to come out with just as much reading material in the trade. Only pitfall was that there wasn't much of a selection as most of the best authors have been picked clean, but there were lots of good surprises, especially in the classics section.

Been coming here since they first opened. Even with new owners place seems great still. We just bought some kids books for my wife's class. We will continue to come here.

Encore books is hands down the best used bookshop within 100 miles of Yakima. I went to the tri-cities thinking I could find something better and no luck. This bookstore is amazing. It doesn't just cater to a specific genre but has many to choose from. I have found books here that would be impossible anywhere else. Ignore the old reviews, this store has new owners and they are lovely and the store itself is as well.
