The whole team at JV Accounting have been wonderful to work with. As a new business owner, I was having trouble getting my feet under me. I am not sure how to even express how abysmal our experience with JV accounting was. Not only were our taxes done incorrectly, but our experience with Natalie was unprofessional at best. We chose to go through this tax service to make our lives easier, but we spent hours fixing and self filing our taxes to remedy the mistakes made by JV accounting. I am also not sure how one messes up badly enough to classify a scholarship stipend as both that of an unemployed person, farmer and church employee essentially tripling our tax burden and providing false information on a federal tax document. She also gave us incorrect advice which after 2 minutes on the IRS website I was able to verify was incorrect. The level of incompetence was absolutely bizarre. If you choose to go with JV accounting, do yourself a favor and go over your documents with a fine tooth comb, or just save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

Everyone begins with all good intentions when opening their own business. Unfortunately accounting is not one of them and that is where Judith and her team at JV Accounting come in. The ideal situation would be to have them on your side before you begin your new business. The good news is that there is no bad time to do the right thing. Get them on your side and they will represent you fairly..accurately and competently. I would even venture to suggest that if you are an established business it would be well worth the time of a quick business consultation with Judith to ensure you have the best fit for your business needs.
