Tried the bratwurst today. Flavorful and plump, excellent texture and great snap... casing was not tough. If you want authentic German bratwurst, this is the place. Outstanding.

Lived here for years but finally went last week. This little store kicks out some great homade meats. I purchased their Italian sausage,(very well done and they have 20 more to chose from). German Bri cheese (best I've had) fresh bologna was really good. I tried their picked herring and it had very good flavor. Sweeter than I usually eat it. German red cabbage with apples is a great side. Even for breakfast! I will be back many more times! Remember that they only take cash or check. Their cash register is super cool old school. Also the lady that worked there is a real sweetheart. She takes pride in her work.

Matterhorn has it all. German sausages and all the bows and whistles to go with it. Tea, coffee, chocolate and Christmas specialty items. You literally feel like your in Europe! We always order our Thanksgiving turkey in October and pick up some great Christmas items every year. This store is worth the drive and we always look forward to going!!!

A wonderful place to shop for German style sausages. It's a humble building but don't let it fool you. The quality is excellent. If you are also looking for German Items like sauces, tea, cookies and chocolates you find it here. Makes me feel like home. thank you for being here on the East side.

I absolutely love this place. I stop here whenever we go through the Yakima area, providing they are open. This is a must stop place for us. Highest quality old school artisan meats. I highly recommend this place. MONTANA LOVES YOU!!!!!

5 stars because there isn't 10. Fred has been and continues to be the best place in the valley for quality smoked meat products! The challenge is to work your way through his offerings. With his daughter helping him out he has even more to offer. A great selection of cheeses, spaetzel, jellies and more. The best recommendation to start would be the lanjaeger. From there let your nose be your guide.

Authentic Swiss/German meats. This must be the best sausage and bacon you can buy this side of the Atlantic Ocean. And the prices are very reasonable.
