They had expired food (in the fresh food section). I visited on November 21st and they were selling chicken sandwiches and other items that were to be sold by November 17th.

Did Doordash shop order here and found everything the customer wanted without having to find substitutes. Thanks for having the self checkouts open, made it super convenient.

Been to this location 100 times for personal and or DoorDash / instacart orders and was denied service while doing a door dash for having scotch tape on my ID to hold it together never had this happen before had to cancel the customers order and take a crappy review for not completing the order , hope stuff with ID don’t happen to other people I’ve done plenty of alcohol orders and this was the first time this had happened

One of the best Safeways town and my preferred place to shop, but I always have to be vigilant and take my time to check every expiration date. They leave so many expired products out, even a month past the date.
