Have never had a problem with this place. One of the better ones in yakima. Katie is definately the employee to deal with when going in, best employee there!

I would actually give them a - 0 star rating if possible. The branch manager Mandi doesn't know how to do her job. My husband and I went into the branch to deposit a bank draft in Euro which any banker should know all EU Bank Drafts say non negotiable. This draft was already paid for it was around 5K. She was rude and we were treated like criminals. She wouldn't accept the bank draft. I was upset that they didn't know simple banking 101. As I was leaving I let her know there is always an issue in this branch. the teller was always rude when we went in. Two days after we went in to the branch and she wouldn't take our deposit, she sent me a certified letter stating she was going to close my account and also my elderly parents account who have had their account with another branch for 20 plus years. She did this because my name was on it as well. When I spoke with her district manager he also didn't know about the bank draft procedure. He defended the Branch Manager Mandi who was obviously not trained and bitter because we found out that she should have accepted it without any issue. So just because I was annoyed she retaliated. She said she was closing the account and nothing would be allowed to go through. So this was in October 2023. January 6 2024 which was the first I had heard of it. I went down to another branch and paid it right away. I was presented with a photocopy of a letter stating they turned me over to collections for a $24 Roku Subscription Fee that they let come through and I had no idea it was coming through, even though she said they were closing the account. They proceeded to also charge me a $30 forced closure fee and turned that over to collections. However, they never notified us of this for three months. She also sent me photocopies of the two letters she said she sent letting me know of these charges. I not once have received an original letter. However, I have informed delivery from USPS and all my mail is scanned daily. There is no record of ever receiving any of those documents. She turned us over the the CHEX System and it stays on their system for 5 years. We disputed this 3 times and US Bank keep denying to remove it. I also sent every item received via USPS Informed Delivery as 100% proof the documents were never received. She probably shredded them. She blamed it on the post office. Right after she did this my credit union revoked my privileges based on what they put on Chex Systems and my credit score dropped by 56 points. This is the kind of bullying and incompetence that shouldn't be allowed. The manager Mandi didn't know how to do her job. We pulled her up on it and she didn't like it, so she pulled this power play. You cannot trust these malicious, under trained non ethical people working for US Bank. Their upline i.e. Presidents Office are just as bad. They have done nothing to rectify this only back their under educated employee. What a GOOD BRANCH MANAGER would have done is said I'm really sorry, it was my mistake, I was wrong. If you come back in we can get this sorted out. She didn't do that. She chose to be vindictive and manipulative and pull a power play. I don't know any company that would want those types of people working and representing their company. My advice. Don't trust them to know what they are doing for sure. Find a bank or credit union that values you and doesn't treat you like a criminal. PS All these reviews you see from Local Guides and not customers. They are reviews that are strategically done and often paid for to try to make the company look better. If you read the real customer reviews you will see there isn't one good customer review!

Really dislike this branch. Unfortunately it is the closest to our home. Go to the branch down town. Much better service. You always need an appointment and I find the bankers rude here. Tellers are good but seemed to be understaffed.

Their atm "is not serviced by the bank" so when a transaction error happens it will just swallow your card and "destroy it". The bank will then charge you for another and make you go through the trials of updating every account with that associated card. How lovely of a bank that doesnt control its own atm attached to its wall. This place is a joke

Easily the slowest drive thru bank in Yakima. Always only have one lane open. I waited 20 minutes today and saw people skip the line and just leave while I waited.

It's Friday at 4:30pm (close at 5pm), during Covid, the branch closes 1 of the 3 drive up windows. Why? We're sitting 6 cars deep!

Despite the fact they are open, no one answers the branch phone. The driveup banking is a miserable long wait despite three lanes and the tellers are rude no matter the day or time. Covid has made customer service something from the good ol' days. Completely denying a long wait by acting surprised, was the last straw. Far better options than this bank.
