Huge shout out to Peter the pharmacy technician. I had a prescription sent up to this pharmacy from Pasco because they were out of stock. When I arrived in Yakima, Peter told me that Pasco had never actually sent the prescription up. He put it together in just a few minutes while I waited at the drive-through and was a pleasure to speak with.

You cannot get in and out in a timely manner. I’ve been told multiple times “it’ll take about 30min max”
I usually sit and wait much longer. The last time was over 2 hours, on meds the Dr put in beforehand. Always something else as well. Out of stock. Need to talk to the Dr to figure this or that out. Never have I had the amount of PITA as with Walgreens. Only go here as it’s easiest with it being a chain. Hope to move things to a faster pharmacy asap.

I'm moving my prescriptions. I am 5 days without one of my very important med that helps my function from my neuropathy. I placed this order at the beginning of October to be picked up on the 8th, they still haven't filled it. I know they are short handed but why is it taking so long to fill an order I put in a week before it was due.

If you are planning on picking up a prescription here be aware that you will be waiting a MINIMUM of 30-45 minutes.

The cashier was very rude to me and unprofessional she didn’t sell me the stuff I had
It was on clearance and she didn’t want it give it to me so she put it on hold for the next day so I can talk to the supervisor i came back the next day and everything was lost nobody knew where was my stuff I waited a few weeks and guess what they put the stuff back on the shelf and for a regular price and problem fixed so funny 😂 some people think we are stupid 😜

What kind of pharmacy closes on the weekend? I'm type 1 diabetic and I needed my prescription this weekend and I called them to have it filled and I was informed that they're not open on the weekend.... So yeah I'll be changing my pharmacy.

I had a question about body care products, so I asked the lady at the front counter. I went back to shopping , and 3 cops arrived, saying the workers suspected me and my friend was shoplifting. Apparently, this was the 7th call this week with the workers suspecting shoppers of shoplifting. I will not be going back to this Walgreens.

Walgreens at 6400 W. Nob Hill Blvd, used to be a fantastic pharmacy to get your prescriptions filled. For the last year, + it has gone down hill and is probably the slowest, most non responsive pharmacy in Yakima. It takes a full 24 hours or more to get prescription filled after it is called in by your Doctor. Try to call the pharmacy you will wait for at least 20 minutes before you get a response. Unfortunately Medicare Pard D dictates where you can go for preferred providers or I would gladly go elsewhere. Walmart was much, much faster.

I was told my prescription would be ready at a specific time. I show up 25 minutes after that specified time. Was my prescription ready? No. Did they have a poor excuse for why not? Yes. Does this happen every time I go there for meds? Almost, it's about 75% of the time they fail, and 25% they actually get the meds to me on time. That's not a great ratio Walgreens pharmacy. And the fact that it's not getting better is why you get 1 star.Update 4-5-2022: this pharmacy just tried to over charge me for my prescription. I looked up prices and found Walgreens was trying to charge me 3 times the average price. Taking advantage of people with health issues should be a crime. I'll never step foot in there again.

I've always had good shopping experience at this Walgreens, pharmacy staff are courteous and professional, Walgreens carries the brands I trust & the odd & curious items I like to purchase, such as KIRKS handsoap. Wonderful stuff!

Man, I got to say, this is the best Walgreens of all! I have never been to a Walgreens with more delight, inspired employees, gleaming, warm light. The merchandise is the most amazing products I've ever come in contact with. I might add that with a name like Walgreens you think they have the walls painted green, but no. They are white! We just adds to the clean atmosphere. The pharmacy sells drugs on the toilet has mediocre products. I couldn't ask for anything More.

I was appalled by the behavior of the man behind the counter at the pharmacy this evening. After waiting in the ER with my husband who was in a hypertensive crisis all day today (not to mention I'm 31 weeks pregnant, huge, tired and taking care of everyone but myself with a smile on my face), I walked into the pharmacy to see if I could get the prescription my husband was prescribed transferred to this Walgreens after the Walgreens on Summitview was closed, as it was extra important that he start taking the medication this evening. Apparently the man behind the counter had just gotten off the phone with my husband who was unhappy that Walgreens would not transfer over the medication, but regardless, I was just an innocent party walking up to the counter trying to take care of my sick husband. The man at the pharmacy didn't like that my husband was upset, and he used foul language (he had the nerve to use the F word) with me when he explained that he had just gotten off the phone with my husband and couldn't help me. How rude...I literally said "I hope you can help me, my husband was in the ER today and..." but he cut me off and shut me down straight away. If you can't deal politely with the public, don';t have a job where you work with the public. I did not deserve to be treated the way I was and I'm not happy about it.
