They never do anything. They never give any numbers. They never connect you to anybody. You call them and they say they can’t to the things that their own website and voicemail says they do. People are actually dying because this negligence.

Not very helpful beyond the requisite email they sent me regarding what little assistance there is in Cowlitz County. The girl was in Portland for one, didn’t want to provide me with any help in Vancouver (since according to her there wasn’t much help in Cowlitz County, so Vancouver was my next option). She became flustered and frustrated easily, kept focusing on things I wasn’t even asking for (a complete list of resources for vancouver? Not what I was asking for. I ended up telling her even something she could verbally tell me regarding assistance there so I could have something to work towards or look forward to. Nope.)The conversation left me feeling more hopeless and helpless than before I called 211. That’s not at all what it was intended to be, but that’s how she made me feel. It doesn’t matter if I don’t live in vancouver, what matters is I need help and she kept telling me over and over again that there isn’t much help here, so naturally I would ask for the next place nearby I used to Live in for 5 years, but she just kept talking me in circles telling me she could send me a full list of things there, but that I should focus on what little help I have available here? You people need to screen your volunteers/employees better before having them discourage folks who are desperately seeking help, only to basically be told there is almost no help and then not provide the help they ask for. And, be a little more forthcoming on your website about the assistance, advice And help you CAN offer people instead of having to call and explain a very painful situation to someone only to find out they don’t want to hear about it and just want to shut you up so they can move on with their night.I started out with a 2 star review and after recounting the conversation with her I’m so angry and upset that it’s now a 1 star review. So much for your glorious information line, Washington! Stay classy.

Excelent ideas about serving the greater Yakima Valley communities. Website information is often obsolete, due to the number of organizations participating in serving the needs of people, but do not focus on updating information.

Can't get through on the phone and not finding anything online. Can't get helped by family support center. Why is this even a thing still if they don't help
