The Yakima Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization serving the community for over 100 years. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, very kind, and dedicated. They provide great help and answer questions quickly. The facility is excellent and includes socialization rooms. They have many lovely animals for adoption with a good selection, where people can find a great rescue pet right away. They help reunite lost pets with their owners, providing quality animal care, updating vaccinations, and offering microchipping. Visitors describe the animals as cute, lovely, and nice, often making them want to take them home. It is a place people definitely plan to visit more.
A really nice facility with friendly people. But they need to organize an event where the community comes to get rid of all those foxtails. It's a whole foxtail garden there!

They do what they can to help animals an missing pets. Your welcome to take a dog on a walk or ask to volunteer looks nice from the outside an inside always clean.

I took my black lab (Keno) in to be neutered and they did an excellent job. Love this place. ❤️ Thank You
