Postal service is worse than Roy, WA service. After 20 years of rural delivery to my mailbox here in Yelm, they made an entitled and lazy decision that their delivery drivers no longer make a right turn along their route. My mailbox must be moved after 20 years to accommodate these lazy civil servants. My mail was involuntary held at the post office until I drove down to pick it up, and all my mail is being returned to sender now including critical postage and packages delivered through USPS. They are worthless and USPS should be dissolved to provide private sector delivery for your mail. UPS, FEDEX and AMAZON already do the majority of your deliveries and they are reliable. USPS is the grossly incompetent agency that needs to be defunded. They jack your postal costs and only deliver junk mail. Completely worthless government service

This location and most of their employees deserve 0 stars. My father’s cremated remains were shipped USPS express and required a signature. I left the gate open so they could come in the driveway and provided my phone number to be contacted due to any complications that may arise. Made sure I was home because it is obviously important to me. Driver left a missed delivery note in the mailbox and never tried to call or come in the driveway to knock on the door or anything. The box was clearly marked ‘cremated remains’ and had my phone number right underneath the shipping label. Your drivers are lazy . And your customers deserve better. The guy at the counter was rude and unhelpful as well, fully aware that it was my dad’s ashes. Be better and act like you give a crap with your government salary.

Yelm Post office or maybe just the USPS in general continue to let us down. When you have Fragile written all over, please, pretty please do your job with some pride and dignity. So unfortunate we have no pride in our work. Wish I could give ZERO stars. But unfortunately they are allotted a one star guarantee.

This won't be much of a shock but I had the absolute worst experience here today, samuel at the front desk made me dropping off.An order for my job exceptionally difficult.And then when I tried to call and get the name of the postmaster, to make a formal complaint, the curr of a woman claiming to be the supervisor told me if I didn't like my job, I should quit while refusing to give me any help or a name. Watching these lazy government employees squander my tax dollars day-by-day makes me yearn for the day that somebody finally decides to build a bulldozer

The Yelm Post Office is the worst in the area. I will travel to Rainier or McKenna or even Roy before going to the PO in Yelm. First, most (not all) of the counter staff are unfriendly, they come across as though they hate their job. Then, it's so incredibly slow, probably because they never seem to have more than one person working the counter. I decided to give it a try today just for a book of stamps.. I walked in and counted 7 people in line and as usual, one person working the counter. I turned right around and walked out and went to the UPS store. We've lived in Yelm for 22 years and it has been this way for as long as I can remember.

I wish you could put 0 stars but I have been trying to call the yelm location for about 3 days now about every every hour and it's like nobody there has ears to hear the phones ringing so they don't pick up and to top it off they won't return your calls. I'm very dissatisfied with how the yelm location is operated.

LAZY DELIVERY DRIVER COULD NOT DELIVER MY PACKAGE TO MY DOOR WHEN THEY HAVE IN THE PAST AND DID. OT EVEN TRY TO ATTEMPT TO GIVE ME A NOTICE ON MY DOOR NOTHING! AND NO NOTICE IN MY MAILBOX NO NOTICE AND I HAVE A CAMERA! OURE LAZINESS! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL! 🤬🤬🤬EFFFF YOU GUYS! I HAVE NO WAY OF PICKING IT UP NOW I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK SINCE YIU REFUSE TO DELIVER IT!
Oh and to top it off the delivery driver is “claiming that I have it delivered and waiting at the post office at my request” when I have NEVER EVER NOT ONCE PUT IN ANY SORT OF REQUESTS TO HAVE IT SENT BACK TO THEM AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH LING LINES AND DEAL WITH THE ATTITUDES OF THE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE POST OFFICE THEMSELVES! Screw that! They can leave it at the mother flipping mail box and it’s LARGE ENOUGH TO PUT IN THE BOX. TRUST ME I KNOW! This item would fit in!
