Took a family in need over there “Food Bank”.. website now says they are still collecting food but in fact they have no food. Just wondering whats up with that.

Thrift Store phone has said they're open and taking donations.Wrong! This has been the message since they closed for Covid over two years ago! I have left several messages on the Thrift Store phone as well as the Auto Licensing phone to have them call me about their phone message being wrong.I never received a call back from anyone. Talked to a live person today and she said she would have someone take care of it. We'll see. About a year ago my friend from Tacoma (believing the phone message), went to the Thrift Store. She didn't ask me first. It was closed. Message should have been changed as soon as the store closed. Horrible Customer Service!!! Once, I even talked to the manager of the Auto Licensing department. She assured me that she would have it fixed. She didn't. Again, horrible Customer Service. Go to DC Treasurers in downtown Yelm instead. Lots of merchandise and great prices!!! I love this store! Worth the time!

Hey the place is okay for just it is what it is if he ain't got no money you need some food and some grub these people will help you make sure you get fed and be polite to him because of good peoples

Everyone was so nice and they gave us so much food! I had to share with a friend. The amount they give you for "1 family" could definitely feed 2 families, or 3 small ones. I'm not joking.

I go about 2x a month to get extra food they give out & they also hand out $50 gift cards for Safeway for any household or other food products I need, it's very helpful & appreciated. The young teens & adults who volunteer are wonderful,have great attitudes, & are respectful. I JUST WANT TO SHOUT OUT "THANK YOU ALL"

Always find cool stuff in here! They do try to keep things organized. and Prices are amazing. You have to be a digger. But remember- Only Cash or checks with I.D. here! No Debiit cards. P.S. with Covid ,The thrift Shop has been Closed

I'm grateful our community offers the food Bank. We have to much month at the end of the $. My Grandsons are like cattle, they graze all day, eating us out of house & home! So its really nice to have! The items offered are really good, it's local & close to home! What more is there?✌

I’m a newbie I went there today since we live to paycheck to paycheck we always short because of the bills back to back.im glad I went there to get us some food for my family,and all the workers they are all friendly and greet you very nice,I don’t know all their names.i ddnt pay attention on it.i just want to say thanks for all the support and effort you do all this things to help us.and to tell you when all my kids saw all the food I bring it home today they really got surprise.and very happy they even tell me wow mom is this real we never ever have this much of food now I’m not getting hungry anymore since we have food for the rest of this week! I got tears and happy when I saw my kids are happy they have a good snack,and eat their dinner good tonight.ones again thank you so much and god bless you guys all
