We LOVE Yelm vet! They treat us like family and spend time to make sure our pets have the upmost care.
They don’t slap a “bandaid” on concerns or do things just to receive as much money as they can. They actually care and want what works for us!!
We are so happy we found them!
We have 4 wonderful fur babies and all are healthy and happy❤️

The vet assistants were pleasant and knowledgeable and highly responsive to the needs of my dog. The doctor was excellent and treated my dog with great care, kindness and professionalism. I have all my dogs treated by various doctors at this hospital, and all are wonderful.
The only negative point I have is the new reception staff. They all could be a little friendlier, and smile once in a while. The ladies who used to work behind the reception counter would engage with customers and pets, but that doesn't happen anymore with the new crew. These ladies are a little cold, but they do work to complete requests.
It's the doctors and vet assistants that make every visit worthwhile, and I know my beloved pets are in good hands.

$100 for the Urgent Exam, then detailed explanation of other costs before we chose to go ahead with services. It was worth it. Back to tail wagging. Thank you.

Not the same clinic it use to be. Took our doberman there that suddenly got ill. The did labs work and xray but couldn't give us a firm diagnosis. Wanted us to go to an emergency vet clinic in Tacoma. It would be between 6000-8000 to be seen and if he needed surgery 12000- 18000..care credit is ridiculous 39.9 % interest and payment would be 1200 a month. We choose to observe from home with pain meds and Iv fluids which still cost us 1000.00. We were suppose to call for follow up on Monday but They would not let me talk to a vet. What happened to people caring about more then the money. That clinic use to have caring people and vets that cared about you. No empathy , sympathy or customer service . They are lucky to get one star from us. Very disappointed. Not everyone has that kind of money right now. They have out priced themselves.

I take my dogs here all the time! Really glad I found this place when I did, really worth the drive. When I came to get my dog spayed, the staff were very friendly and I was well informed about what to expect afterwards. Thanks again for the wonderful job!

I am very grateful for Dr. Griffin and her patient, accommodating staff. I had a pet emergency, and we got our pet to be seen on the same day, just a few hours after calling the practice. We got all the medications, diagnostic tests, and recovery plan all for about $200.

I’ve been coming to YVH for over 10 years and now I live in Tacoma. I needed to get my dog in ASAP for an unforeseen back issue that arose the night before and was able to secure an urgent care appt the morning I called. I absolutely love Dr. Raleigh, from her kindness and compassion to her knowledge in Vet Medicine. She took great care of my dog and she’s doing so much better with the meds she was given. I continue to make the drive because of the great work they do there. The staff there were kind and understanding as well! Thank you YVH!
