My husband and I loved this experience. We are extremely new to the wine world experience and we learned so much. The gentleman also didn't come off as pretentious and never made us feel stupid about not knowing anything. He explained everything very well. This was one of the best wine tasting experiences we have ever had and the wine was excellent too.
Thank you for making this an experience we will likely compare to all others in the future.

Great experience learning about wines from the owner while having our taste test. We struggled to limit our purchases to only 3 bottles.

I haven't been back to this area of the state in 18 years to visit wineries. This winery was the first one on my list, and the only one i planned on visiting a second time. Paul was fantastic explaining the small taste pairings with his wines and why they go together. Great experience with someone who's passionate about his pesticide free vines. Very nice tasting room.

Day Drinking in Zillah WA.
Paradiso del Sol Winery in Zillah WA.
After breaking camp from our first night of wine-camping with HarvestHosts in Zillah, we decided to drive down the road and visit Paradiso del Sol Winery.
What a unique winery.
The entrance is so unassuming that there is a sign to tell you that you are going the right way.
Paul, the owner and winemaker, is quite the character and his tasting room and style reflects him
Not only did he serve 10 wines in his tasting, he also served food pairings with each. Oh, and the tasting is free. No, not free with a purchase but free-free.
And regarding 'day drinking', Paul assured us that having wine with your food means you are not drinking just eating.
We did not get a chance to walk the grounds and see the vineyards or the farm animals but we did go back to our camper van with a couple of bottles of wine and a complimentary melon from his garden.
All in all a very fun and educational experience that we would highly recommend.

An excellent down to earth winery that has some of the best wines I've ever tasted! the Winemaker Paul is an awesome host and makes the wine tasting experience memorable! Their Sangiovese is a must- try. Also, Paul has an excellent YouTube Channel called" Paul Talk" where he shows the in's and out's of running an Organic Vineyard!????

We pulled up for a tasting, and three dogs ran up to the fence and growled and barked at us. We're not skittish, and got out of the car - but then an unleashed dog came up to us and started barking and snapping. My partner tried to coax it down, and it just got nastier. It literally followed us in our car to the road until we pulled away. Unsafe, scary, and unwelcome. Never saw the owners or a bottle of wine.

It really pains me to leave this review- I've been a customer for years and have really enjoyed their wines and tasting experience. However, I really encourage Paul and Barbara to consider doing some clean up and improvement in the tasting room. The experience is long past eccentric and has veered into unappealing and takes away from Paul's passion and knowledge of winemaking. I can't recommend until some cleaning, hygiene and updates made to the tasting experience. Wine is still good and love Paul's passion and knowledge.

I have to be honest, I arrived at dusk and as we approached the front door I thought we had made a serious mistake coming here as in lets get back in the car and leave. But since it was our last chance for some wine tasting last evening we proceeded to go in. Not what I expected. After visiting many wineries over the last few years, I learned more, had better wine and spent less money than I have ever experienced anywhere else. This place appears somewhat rough to say the least on first approach, however you will not find a better experience in true "tasting" than you will here. Guy makes some of the best wine, best prices and you actually learn something about the fine are of wine making.

Paradisos has the BEST wine in the valley. It's been that way for over a decade. Small operation, family farm, space for kids to play inside & outside. And did I mention it's the best wine in a world class wine region? Go. Taste. Enjoy. You won't regret the journey.

We visited Paradisos del Sol on 2023 Easter weekend. We were not disappointed. The wine is great; the food pairing introduction to various wines was quite the thing. Who would ever have thought that such a small tidbit of food could affect the taste buds in such a harmonious way! The wheel chair accessible tasting room via the family yard is quite homey but the wine made up for the yard! Definitely a winery to visit in the Rattlesnake Hills appellation.
