Alta Station is an awesome place just off the interstate right outside of Lewisburg, conveniently located and merely a stone's throw from the highway exit. It is a great little truck stop with plenty of room for big rig parking and allows overnight parking, making it a definitely safe place for drivers and their equipment. The location has a good old small town feel, where local farmers and friendly people stop in. The service is always great, super friendly, welcoming, kind, and prompt, even when very busy. The staff attends to customers with smiling faces. The food is delicious, with no bad food—everything you order is great and served up fast. Menu highlights include phenomenal hot dogs, yummy sandwiches, excellent breakfast potatoes, French toast, good chili, soup, a salad bar with plenty of options, and crisp curly fries and onion rings. There are more than enough food and good snacks sold inside along with quality drinks. The bathrooms are phenomenal and absolutely clean. Everything is very neat and clean. Fuel prices are better here than in town, offering affordable fuel. It is a perfect and quick stop to use the bathrooms, experience the kindness, and fill up.
