I went to get help with a food box and when the elderly lady asked how many was in our household and we told them, she acted shocked and then started saying really nasty things about my children. She didnt know us and continued to yell our business out. When you go to a church to get help this is definitely not the response or the way you should treat people. I would never recommend anyone going there to get help.

I’m rarely one to complain, but I was extremely disappointed in the lack of respect I was given, as a professional looking for assistance for a family in need. I was told by the elderly woman who answered my call (she informed me that her age is 81) that I spoke too fast for her to understand me. I apologized and slowed down, and she very rudely interrupted me and told me to “hush.” I could hear other people, whom I can only assume were volunteers or employees, laughing in the background. At that point I declined further assistance, apologized again for speaking too quickly for her and told her that I didn’t appreciate her being so rude to me. What I should have done is reminded her of the “golden rule of the Bible.” Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is supposed to be a Christian organization. DO BETTER.

I picked up some food for our outreach ministry and the staff here was very nice and also very professional. They do a good job at maintaining the facility as well. They are always a blessing to work with.
