About Outside In Climbing Gym

Outside In Climbing Gym is a great place for a fun climbing experience, recommended for all ages. It is a good time and an amazing rock gym, perfect for a rainy day activity. It offers climbing, mini golf, and a fantastic coffee shop. The environment is more of a "family fun" type, fun for beginners and experienced rock climbers. The workers are amazing, very helpful, and make people feel welcomed. The bouldering section is very small, however, and an all day pass requires scheduled use because of how small the place is. When busy with kids, there is nowhere to warm up or even stand. The available Moonboard was banged up with broken bolts and holds.

    I had a great time at this gym although I found the difficulty a bit easy compared to something like free soloing El Cap. The atmosphere was incredible and put-put was great. The locals were very friendly, although I couldn't understand them (I don't speak West Virginian). Good coffee too.

    I suggest making reservations! We waited over an hour because we didn't. However, guides were amazing and everyone had a wonderful time!

    We have three kids ranging from 3-11. They accommodated all three ages and the three kids had a blast. The price was super fair. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was also great. It was a super neat place with a fun, cool atmosphere. There was something for everyone!
