Welp first time with this bank and checked the hours the day before. Needed a check cashed before I went to work at 11. The internet says they are open both lobby and drive thru at 9am. I got there at 10am and the doors were locked and the drive thru all said closed on every lane accept the atm.

I've never felt this way about a business-customer relationship. Summit really goes above and beyond in my opinion. It is nice to be held in high regards. The customer service is just...exceptional.

I will never, ever recommend Summit Community bank to anyone. I have had paychecks deposit then disappear days later and would not reappear in my bank account for days. I messaged them with the app and was told it was an error. This error seemed to happen to me every other month or so. I work 14 hours a day, 5 days a week. I just got married and we went to Chase bank. I have been trying to close my bank account for weeks now. I only have Sundays off. The lady told me she froze my account so that after my automatic deposit was removed, I would not have a negative balance from any further charges. That has proven to be false twice now. I call and argue, they will deduct the overdraft fees, they told me to put a check for the exact amount in the deposit box with a note stating to close the account once it was at a “0†balance. I did that exactly. Just happened to check today and I had a subscription service charge that bank account that was supposed to be not only frozen but also closed as of 4 days ago. She said that she would wave the overdraft fees. Now I have to drive back to Summit and put another check from Chase into their deposit box after working all day to get it back to “0†and try this again.

They work well with you, call and check on you, repay atm fees, etc. Best bank I've had.

it was average
