Dawson's Home Center is a well-stocked, old school neighborhood hardware store that offers a much more enjoyable experience compared to big box stores. It is a great local place with a top notch, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff that goes out of its way to help customers find what they are looking for. The store has a great and very good selection of almost everything, including tools, garden supplies, building supplies, seasonal items, and dedicated paint and farm departments. It is a bit pricey for some but offers competitive prices with excellent service. Services include online ordering for store pickup and a customer birthday reward. While occasionally a staff absence can limit specific equipment assistance, it remains a surprising and hard-to-beat hometown store.
