Please avoid this vet for homeopathic consult via phone. I have never been there in person and cannot speak to regular care/consult.
I have a primary vet close by that has treated our dog for 13 years- using conventional medicine. When our older dog developed a growth in her gums that conventional medicine had no answer for- other than a risky surgery- I looked for a homeopathic vet. I came across this vet as she provides homeopathic consult via phone. After spending over $300 for an initial constitutional consult and follow up visits, I have no improvement to show for it. After my dog's health took a turn for the worse, after business hours, I emailed her multiple updates to let her know where things were at and she showed very little concern for the health of my animal-- requesting I schedule a follow up appointment (=more $$). There are other details that indicated that the future of this relationship would likely result in more money shelled out with no results. If you want to know more, read the Facebook reviews from others. I feel taken for a ride. And this is what gives homeopaths a "snake oil salesman" type of reputation. I have used an excellent homeopath for my own family, with wonderful results, so I know its possible. Recommend avoiding this vet for this type of care.

We love Dr. Doyle and Gina! They provide excellent care for our kitties and always return a call if you reach out after hours. They have treated and saved two of our kitties who needed immediate care and many of the bumps along the road. Dr. Doyle also euthanized my rabbit in the most comfortable and kind way possible and put my mind at ease knowing she was no longer suffering. Please do not hesitate to call on this office and ask for help for your animals. They are extremely reasonably priced and care just as much as you do about your fur babies.

Dr. Doyle and Gina are great! It is not your typical fancy vet but they do not push vaccines and offer the least harmful options when needed. My 2 dogs love going and even though it is 80 minutes away from us it is well worth seeing a vet that truly cares about your pets and their well being.

Dr. Doyle and Gina are on it! They are always available and you never have to wait on hold or wait for a call back. And, they can get you in. For us, having 2 dogs and one cat, it has been super helpful to go to Animalia, and not just for the regular appointments, but also for the unscheduled ones, too. Our puppy broke her arm and Dr. Doyle was on the phone with us whilst at the ER giving us advice along the way ensuring that our pup would not get the standard pain killers that cause liver issues, and then she even saw us when she was closed to ensure the splint was correct. Further, Dr. Doyle's knowledge of animals and all the bad food, treatments and treats out there that other vets fail to share has been very helpful.

Dr. Doyle and Gina are amazing at what they do. I really appreciate their approach to treating our babies with holistic and natural remedies which has worked well for them. They are always ready when we arrive and they know us and our babies so well and that’s why we trust their practice. Thank you!

Before I even walked in, I felt uneasy as the "clinic" is in a run down house.. and I mean run down!!! But I wanted to give it a shot, so I went in....the vet/Dr was very arrogant and even condescending when I asked questions...and of course when I asked about flea/tick prevention she had nothing in stock and said she used only topical products... which is fine, but she didn't have any topical products in stock either!! I was truly offended by both women's attitudes....it was as if they felt they were smarter than you and you knew nothing about your dog, they were the "experts"... which is completely laughable!! I have since learned through the grapevine, to not take your pet there if you value their life

Dr. Doyle has been wonderful with my pets over the years. When I picked up a stray kitten someone tossed in the river she gave me all the medicine I needed to deworm him and get his awful flea situation fixed up. She got him situated quickly and professionally. Definitely recommend!

my cat was very sick with a upper respiratory infection when I took him there. she had to keep looking in a book to figure out what medicine to give him. I called back 4 days later because my cat hadn't eaten and seem to be worse and I ask for a antibiotic she said that wasnt necessary, just force feed him. I ended up having to take him to the emergency animal hospital in hagerstown where he was treated with iv fluids and a antibiotic. do not recommend this vet at all

I called to ask about having my poor dog put down today and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and had the nerve to say What Ever to me. First review of some where should start at the phone call or front desk person!! I would not recommend this place to anyone

I've personally known Jane Doyle DVM for over 30 years and I've always found her generous, kind, professional. And I know she truly cares about her clients and their companion animals. And yes she does not have the most high tech equipment nevertheless, she practices high quality veterinary medicine. In appreciation, Mike Kohn DVM

PLEASE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE YOU'RE ANIMALS HERE. Going to this place resulted in the death of my furbaby. She doesn't have x-ray machines or a sonogram machine. And it's very dirty and smells of urine.

Took my kitty in for upper respiratory issues. They are very compassionate and did everything they could to help. If you're looking for a natural way to treat your fur babies this is the place to go.

I am a natural health coach, and crunchy mama, who resolves most ailments with herbal medicine and/or homeopathy. I also know there is a time for mainstream medicine. My 14 year old dog has been experiencing bladder issues in her old age. I had been managing her issues at home with herbal supplements. The issue recently progressed and she needed to be seen by a vet. I selected Dr Doyle because I liked what the website presented--a mix of natural and traditional treatment.
