I had the absolute best visit to Veterinary Associates! My cat is not fond of going to her annual checkup, but from the separate cat entrance, to the reception desk, to the vet tech to the doctor, our visit was an unmitigated success! Bella could read their comfort level and competency, and everything went like clockwork. And I was blown away by the reasonable cost for the exam and vaccinations! I highly recommend Veterinary Associates!

Unfortunately I had a less than perfect interaction. I am awaiting a response back from them. Will update soon about my experience there. Update: 1-29-24. I've given a week hoping to get a response. Nothing. Sadly I have to give one star. This is for two reasons. One, they told us they would give us an ink imprint of our dog's paw. Also we paid for an epoxy paw imprint from the business that does the cremation. The ink imprint was not provided and the 20 dollar epoxy print is a generic keychain that most definitely is NOT any real dog's paw imprint much less my late pooch.I'm still too upset to speak with them but that doesn't matter as they won't even reply to my email.14 yrs I had that girl. She came at a time we needed her most. We didn't rescue her, she rescued us.I feel like they've taken something from me that's most precious.Aside from these issues, they were courteous and seemingly sympathetic to our loss. Still feels like a slap to the face they know can't be returned.Update 2-13-24: still haven't heard anything from them. Adding insult to injury. I can't believe they're doing this to us. 400+ dollars and received 1/3 of what we paid for..... I'm starting to have doubts about whether or not it's my baby's remains in this box. I'm literally sick about what's transpired.

These people are so rude it's ridiculous ? took my girl dog to get her fixed and they called me to tell me oh she's ready but we lost a ovary inside her. And will still go into heat but can't get pregnant. I called back after talking with my husband and was going to ask how this could happen and they put me on hold for 45 minutes before I finally got sick of waiting and hung up never called back either. I showed up to pick she look scared to death. Got her in the car looked at her. The incision what horrible said a week to two weeks healing time took my dog A month to heal up. Onced she did get healed went into heat and my male dog got her. So we will see from that point. But not worth the money the time or anything to go there wonder how they are still in business

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The setup and facility are well maintained and seem to be well thought out with different entrances for dogs/cats and a window so you don’t have to enter. It was a snowy day and there were a couple people waiting in the waiting area, a few in exam rooms, and 2 or 3 came to the window while I was there. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30a and I was seen around 10:15a. I was given options and an estimate on all tests/lab work/X-rays. Lab work was done within 30 mins. I love that they do their lab work in house and you have results within minutes!!I only deducted 3 points from 10 because (1)I was prepared to discuss what Keyla (my dog) was eating since she has lost weight/muscle tone. I brought all of her food and supplements. I wasn’t asked by vet. So just before the appointment was over and after I’d been given a diagnosis/plan, I asked how much food she was supposed to have. I was then asked how much she was being given and told to increase her food. Glad I asked because it could and hopefully does save me a repeat visit (along with her new renal diet). Granted it was a very busy day for him! Two of the other vets had called in on a snowy day and he was the only one there, so I understand. He really probably only had so much time to examine each patient. I was concerned about her breath and dental health. (2)He told me her breath smells because she has tartar buildup on her teeth…which I had no idea. Kidding I knew that. She’s hated teeth brushing and won’t drink water if I add dental formula to it, so I wanted to get them cleaned. I was told she has dental disease but wasn’t currently a candidate for anesthesia due to her BUN levels and SDMA test results. (3)However, I wasn’t given a solution, recommendation, or suggested ways to combat dental disease. Hopefully her levels improve and a dental cleaning can be done at some point. I’m sure it doesn’t help her existing kidney condition. I hesitate some times to tell veterinary offices her age, because I believe a lot of her issues are written off as “old age” AND because “she doesn’t look her age.” Well…I’ve tried to keep it that way for 15 years and I will continue to do so.They also can check you out in the exam room which is pretty neat. Sounded like one of the patients might have been a little riled up or didn’t play well with others. So it saved us from escalating the issue by adding Keyla and I to the mix. We were done and in the car by around 11:45a so it ended up being around a 2–hr appointment with physical exam, labs, and fecal test. Not bad, especially with it only being 1 (vs 3) veterinarians on duty.He did ask if I had any questions before he left and he offered to let me come back and weigh Keyla on the scale out front to check on her weight (which I really appreciated)!Thank you Veterinary Associates and Dr. Blair

V. A. stayed open, during snow, while awaiting my arrival at the last minute when my dog cut his foot badly. I appreciated it more than you know. Dr. McGuire also diagnosed and treated my very I'll cat with compassion and understanding. Love her!

I'm giving them 3 stars because in the past they were always kind and caring towards my animals (cats). Especially when it came time to have one put to sleep due to cancer. But two weeks ago a friend and I called to make an appt for her cat who was struggling hard in a bad way. There was no way he was gonna make it thru the day, let alone the night. They flat refused. Even though they supposedly take walk ins. It was a Saturday. This was her cat's regular vet. So my opinion went down a star or two. We ended up finding him a vet and he, in fact, was dying of lymphoma and had to be put to sleep.

We have been with Veterinary Associates for almost 20 years. We are so thankful for the care you give to our babies! Our dogs are ages 2 months to 9 years right now and you guys are great with all three of them!
