Brandywine General is a place for everything. It is a gas station (no gas) crossed with a deli (burgers, not sandwiches) mixed with the flair of a flea market and add to that a coffee bar, ice cream, beer, booze (upstairs) and tobacco stuffs! In short: Brandywine General has lots. There is furniture, snacks, tourist items, postcards, WV sports memorabilia, plaques, collectibles, food, chips, cookery, canned goods, coffee, slushees, lottery, bait and tackle, picture frames, local art, candy, snackbars, juice, milk, burgers, dvds, mugs. They seem to be open late, are friendly to all - and there's an entire attic display of stuff if you are rained out. Fun digs. General stores like this are rare in the East and it is a harkening back to the TOUGH old days, when settlers came to a General Store for supplies.Cool and fun to browse!Review: 5
