First, this Kroger has only been open about a year. 2021 I believe. Most of the reviews I saw as I navigated here were 3 or 4 years old so I guess this monstrosity got to keep the reviews of the store that was here before that was better in every way.
Like many places, they are under staffed, not their fault, but it's not great when you combine that with being packed to what I'm pretty sure has been beyond legal fire code capacity. It's been so packed, people ship dripping with sweat because their air conditioning can't keep up.
With inflation, many prices have increased, however, This Kroger has marked up items that haven't gone up elsewhere. To me, it feels like an opportunistic cash grab. Their milk smells sour ON THE DATE on the cartoon. Milk I buy at other stores is fine far after the date on the cartoon. I was browsing the chicken breasts, same brand, side by side packages, completely different color. Looks like the dates on things are maxxed out, pushed sometimes a bit far. I seriously question the quality and safety of the products. It's not as if it's in the interest of keeping consumer cost down, must be saving someone else money. Be careful choosing products at this store.
The staff is really nice though. I feel bad for them. They are probably over worked being short staffed. Hope some of that artificial inflation is finding it's way into their bank accounts.

Never has enough produce. Always out of orange juice. The store is too small and cluttered for the amount of people in the community.

Rude customer service. Mekalea, was our cashier today. However, she was not wearing her name badge, but I located her name on our receipt. She was openly rude to my mother and I upon asking a promotion offer and rolled her eyes and sighed. I was immediately taken back and wanted to leave the store. I have never experienced any cashier be rude to a paying customer. Will I be returning to shop here after this? Probably not. If you want to be rude to customers do work in customer service. Mekalea’s manager, feel free to ask me questions if you have any.

it’s not a terrible place to shop, but the prices are higher here than most places. i wouldn’t necessarily choose to shop here for that reason. there are things that walmart has that kroger doesn’t, which is annoying. but the employees are always nice and helpful which is great. my favorite thing about Kroger is the sushi. the sushi is always amazing. 10/10 recommend. other than that- for regular grocery shopping i wouldn’t recommend.

Fairly empty on a Friday night! Had to pick up a few staples. Using the app, you can save a bunch. I wish the app was a little more user friendly ( I guess I got used to Albertsons app) but getting used to it. There were a few empty spaces on the shelves. Store was clean, and I found what I came for.
