I had a procedure scheduled at the local hospital and decided to come the night before and find a place. It is super close to St Joseph’s (WVU) and near the college. Staff is very friendly. Room is very clean. Bed is super comfy. WiFi available. Would stay again. I am handicapped and appreciated the elevator. Had a Very good experience!

The hotel is clean! The bathroom is small and there was no fan in our bathroom. The beds definitely need updated. The satff was friendly whenever they were around.

Most of the time, no one is attending the front desk. We unfortunately checked in on a night with 3 events including a wedding. The 2nd floor was so loud, people were slamming doors, yelling drunkenly, like a frat house. I called the front desk to see if there was an event going on, and they let me know when the events were ending but did nothing else. The event area is right next to the rooms. We checked in around 4 and left by 9. The rooms are dated, and you can hear everything through the doors. The beds aren’t comfortable. Not a classy experience.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the lobby smelled. Our check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water and an amazing shower head with strong water pressure. The furniture was starting to show some wear, but was in good shape. We would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I got into the area later than planned and needed a hotel..We looked on Expedia and found this diamond of an inn...we'll be back next year and plan on staying here as part of our next vacation. ...Great location. Great staff. Very clean. Excellent beds and shower/bathroom...there's even a lounge for cocktails and/or dinner...Don't try anywhere else..no need..love this place...THANKS!!!!

We arrived on a Sunday evening in the pouring rain on our motorcycles. We parked our bikes off to the side under the roof of the guest entry completely out of the way. As we were checking in the young lady told us we could not park there and would have to move them into the parking lot again in the pouring rain. I have traveled a lot on my bike and have never been told I couldn’t park under the entry roof. In fact most hotels offer the parking for motorcycles. The beds in the room were terrible and squeaked with every move. It took nearly 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower. The breakfast consisted of packaged muffins and pastries. The coffe was barely warm as was the water for hot tea. The lounge was closed and we never saw anyone at the desk after we checked in and as we left. The hotel was clean but not very welcoming.

I’m pretty picky about my hotels - but I’m so glad we picked this one! ? We had a great stay! It feels clean from the moment you walk inside and they have been working hard to renovate all the rooms! My room had a brand new mattress, comforter, and carpet. It felt very nice, clean, and comfortable! I would normally never stay at a mom & pop hotel but this is totally worth it! You are so close to downtown and the college - they are in waking distance! The staff is very kind and friendly! I enjoyed my stay and will be back!

The hotel is right at the end of town. Great location and very nice employees and guests all around. Most of the rooms I am told are renovated and I much rather stay in a more smaller motel than a larger chain motel, more personal and casual. The breakfast is a cold bar and they have the usual muffins, fruit etc… coffee usually always made in the lobby. Also, they included a little travel kit with a few q tips, emery board makeup pads and emergency sewing kit. Too cute. Would definitely stay here again.??Rooms: The room we received was a King regular with vinyl floors and flat screen tv in room. Very clean and plenty of room for clothing to be put away in drawers or hung up.Nearby activities: There is window shopping on Main Street, also other activities, just ask around to the locals, who are usually very nice and helpful.Walkability: There is a park area close and the hotel. Also, if you felt like it, you can walk to the town area .Food & drinks: There is plenty restaurants in the area to get a bite to eat. All within a few minutes of the hotel.

The rooms are nice but dated. It looks like they are updating. The staff are really friendly. The rooms are clean. They offer hot coffee and tea throughout the day. For breakfast, they have assorted pastries and muffins with apples and bananas. They do not have a restaurant, but they are close to many restaurants, and they do have a lounge. They have vending machine and do not overcharge. One dollar for chips snd $1.75 for soda.
