Camp Creek State Park & Forest is a very nice and clean, quiet getaway with something for everyone. It is a fantastic area known for beautiful waterfalls, with easy, well-marked trails leading to them. The pristine park offers great camping with rustic sites, clean bathhouses, and great campsites. It is great for family trips, with picnic tables, playgrounds, and open space. Visitors can enjoy nearly 6,000 acres for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and fishing in stocked streams. The well-maintained grounds and helpful staff contribute to a peaceful experience. It is a great place to ride bikes, hike, see waterfalls, and find swimming holes. The park stores offer small souvenirs. This quiet West Virginia state park is definitely worth a visit for a relaxed stroll or a fun day in nature.
Camped in trailer campground and it was small, quiet, good view of the sky for stargazing, and very peaceful with the rippling stream nearby. The park staff was so kind and helpful! Two waterfall features in the park, one near each campground area. Definitely returning.
