“Recently we stayed at the Carriage Inn and had an exceptional visit. Yvonne and Johnathan are the most hospitable and welcoming hosts we have met. Breakfasts are excellent and one morning we enjoyed having breakfast served in the private porch adjoining the room. We enjoyed the tasty cookies and baked treats and the complimentary water and juices. The Copper Beech room was very clean and comfortable. Yvonne gave us many excellent tips for visiting the surrounding area, especially Harpers Ferry and the local places in town. We had many great conversations with them and were treated like family. We also enjoyed meeting their two cats and enjoyed learning the history of the house, including the framed Ace of Spades over the door. Thank you so much to Yvonne and Johnathan for a great visit.!”

“I recently stayed at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Charles Town and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is very convenient—close to local attractions and easy to access.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the property could use a bit of updating in certain areas, and a few amenities felt basic. Still, for the price, it offers solid value.

I would definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area.”

“Nice spacious, clean rooms at a good price. Plenty of hot water, comfy beds, grounds well kept and safe. Close to Walmart, food lion, restaurants and gas station. Harpers ferry close and many things to do in the area, Manager lady was so helpful and friendly!”

“My family & I stay at Americas Best Value Inn at Charles Town, for several years now, no its not the "Ritz", but it has always been clean, very comfortable. They have recently done some upgrades / renovations, it looks great. I love the sidewalks and its glitter. The staff has amazing customer service. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we pass through. It seems like we're stopping by to see additional family; we are always greeted with, "Where have you been?, its been so long since you have visited". It really means so much. We normally deal with Lisa, as she works evening shift, or is usually there when we come through late evening / night.....she is a gem. Sincerely has a wonderful personality. Just makes you feel at home. So a huge thank you to Lisa. & All the staff.”
