I walked in and met with Carol. She sat me down and I went over what I wanted. She also made sure to explain what she was going to do and cut a tiny bit off to make sure if I wanted it shorter or longer. She also listened to anything I wanted fixed and asked me periodically if everything was good. The haircut was good, especially for a salon that sees more women than men. Will be going back next time.

I had to give at least one star to give my review, but my experience was not worthy of half a star! Carol answered the phone the first and only time I had an appt with her and she absolutely ruined my hair!! She put a heavy duty plastic helmet type thing on my head and proceeded to use a crochet tool to rip my hair thru the tiny holes of the helmet!!
I could see the other girls that worked there, glancing my way and trying their best not to get involved, but God, I wish they’d have said something about it before it was too late!! I should’ve stopped her and left, but I didn’t want to be rude. I should’ve been rude and left! One of the other girls that worked there had her mom come in to see her and she asked Carol, “What’s that thing on her head?” Carol told her it was for highlights and you can sanitize it. I’m sure that thing has never been cleaned, much less sanitized!! She kept dropping the crochet hook in the floor and she’d just pick it up and continue ripping my hair out by the roots!! My appt with her was July 3, 2024 and I still have a lot of damage to my hair and my new stylist will be seeing me for the 3rd time next week and she’s still working on the damage to my hair, especially around my hairline which is really broken off!! I thought about making an appt with another one of the girls that works there, but my husband didn’t think it was a good idea, so I just found myself a new place to go!!
I hate leaving a bad review, but if I don’t do it now, it’ll just make it worse for whomever follows behind me!! But I sure do wish I’d have written this review the day after I had my hair ripped out by the roots!!
Maybe back in the day when she was a lot younger, she did great work on hair, but this is the best time for her to retire from her current job and find something else to occupy her time.
I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND CAROL BELLER TO STYLE, COLOR, CUT, OR DO ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH HAIR!!!
