I had the unfortunate experience of having a dump truck sling a larger rock into my windshield while driving to an appointment in Columbus. I scheduled an appointment through my insurance company for a repair. On the day of the appointment they took my car in on time and started the repair. The damage was deep and the tech warned me that he would have to clean up the damage by making more cracks. He didn’t damage the windshield but the resin injector would not seat properly to fill the damage under suction. This meant I had to replace the windshield. I requested oem glass and satellite tried to get it approved but the insurance company declined. They still ordered my oem windshield and after extended wait for it to be sourced they called me to schedule an appointment.
My second experience was as excellent as the first. They do a great job of communicating. The oem windshield was only $124 more on top of my deductible.”
