Lost a customer because of their attitude.Me and my husband were wanting to come set up an account. The guy at at the counter was rude to us. He asked if we had an appt, we said no we didn’t know we needed one. He said their only banker had an appt at 10am (it was 9:15) so they wouldn’t see us because it “takes over an hour” to make a bank account. Ok…they couldn’t start it and let us finish later? Just turning us away? When none of them (3 plus just sitting behind the counter talking) werent doing anything.. we asked if there was another time today? He said “you can do it on your phones it’s faster” I told him you can’t make a joint acc on your phone, I already tried. ??♀️??♀️ he said “oh well I guess you can come back later.” He was very snarky and acted like we had no business being there. We felt very unwelcome and were not a fan of the attitudes of these people. We went up the road to Poca Valley bank instead. It was WAY cleaner, more modern, and more friendly. We did have a wait time but we didn’t mind because they were so nice and welcoming unlike these clowns. Can’t wait to start banking with them. ❤️ Good riddance Chase.

I come here often but I'm probably going to be switching soon bc the staff are always so rude. Every single time I've come through I've gotten nothing but rude responses and grumpy people. If I could go lower than 1 star I would. It's just uncalled for.

The staff was fabulous. Amanda took time out of her very busy schedule and lunch time to work with us as walk-ins. She was very informative and walked us through everything making sure we understood and made sure we wouldn't have to pay any extra fees that we didn't want to. Absolutely reccomend.

Went through drive up to cash check and was ask if someone was forcing me to do it and what I was getting it for. Then went to explain elder abuse I am 59 yrs old and she had My DL. Then said if I wanted to invest in a cs and mentioned two different names Chas is My Bank to do it with. Omg!!! I have never been so offended in My life. Will never use this branch again and considering a Bank change.

Horrible customer experience. Thought all banks just had a seminar on customer service experience . They tryna have Wayne fix everybody's mess up. He needs his own bank. The old lady im sure chases pride and joy has not a lick of sense when addressing the younger business leaders. 9/16/2021 and they messed up my credit during pandemic. Also the reason for child tax credits being delayed since lastyear.

I have banked with Chase for over 10 years and normally have no problems with them. But I dread going to the Kanawha City location because, without fail, staff there are rude and discourteous. They never want to help customers and make evey trip a hassle.

I have always appreciated the staff at this location, they are very helpful wonderful, exceptional costumer service. Tyler, helped me with a issue very quickly, called me back twice within the day, & made sure to call the next morning to let me know the issue was resolved. I’ve always trusted this location!

Having recently lost our Mother, my brother and I went into the Kanawha Mall Chase Bank to open a new account for my brother. He was having a particularly hard time with Mom's passing and just needed some assistance in setting things up. We were completely blessed to have Tyler Burnette as our banker that day. He was very kind and helpful and even showed interest in what my brother does for a living. He spent as much time as was needed to be sure we knew what services were offered and was empathetic to the both of us, given our recent loss. During the hardest time in someone's life, true kindness is something that is never forgotten. Thank you, Tyler!
