We’re big fans of Melinda and Elite Pet. We started with one-off classes that are great for beginners. She teaches you how to interact with your dog and coach behaviors, which can be the most important part. Now we’re doing day academy and working through grade-level curriculum. She does a great job of working with your dog’s individual needs. Chewie always get excited about going even though he has to (stubbornly) work for treats.

If I haven't said it before, I LOVE Elite Pet University! I trust Melinda with all my questions and wouldn't let anyone else teach me and Rory everything we need to know.

Melinda and the Elite staff are professional, thorough, caring trainers. They're friendly and willing to answer any question you may have. Our two dogs are in the Day Academy and their progress has been spectacular; they've become more confident in social situations and more focused when required. At the beginning, Melinda provides a packet that summarizes the entire program. For each grade she provides a comprehensive document detailing each skill, the reasoning behind teaching it, and how to train it with your dog for optional homework. After each day the trainer provides a "report card" of your dog's progress, gives you a brief rundown of notable events, and provides personalized advice. I highly recommend Elite Pet University!

Elite Pet University is the BEST place to go for all of your training needs. Melinda is knowledgeable, helpful, and happy to help! My Australian Shepherd has been leash reactive for most of his life, and Melinda helped us overcome his fears and anxiety in just a few months. Now he can walk on a leash at any time of the day! Elite Pet University gave us an opportunity that we haven't been able to find anywhere else. Thank you so much for all that you do!!

My 4 month old Newfoundland puppy - Jewel just graduated from Puppy Elite class tonight. We are super proud! Elite Pet Training - Melinda is wonderful. I recommend her and classes to everyone. She is so professional in her class technique, curriculum and guidelines. She is super friendly and I really appreciated her encouraging tone and patience with the puppies (and handlers). She greets each dog with 'Hi friend!' and really has a natural ability with each individual dog in
