Great place for all animals not just cats and dogs. I take my rabbit here (holland lop) he’s been neutered here and check ups etc always good to him they also take birds etc

I've been taking my dogs to them for 16 years and they are both happy and healthy. The employees are always helpful and nice to the dogs. They recently expanded and started offering boarding. I have left my dogs while on vacation several times. If you have two dogs you can get a larger cage and the dogs can stay together. I will keep taking my dogs here.

I have taken my cats here for years and here lately the service has really gone downhill. I walked in to get flea meds and was told that since one of my three cats hadn't been seen within a year or less he would need to be seen, then the second of the three was less than a month over a year from her last time of being seen so she couldn't have any flea meds either. Ok fine, I make appointments for both of them, I bring them in first thing in the morning on July 5th because I had dental cleanings and vaccines scheduled. I am told that there is a single ONE staff member that does dental care and they had an emergency so they weren't going to be there that day and I can reschedule...well I took off from work, I collected all the food and water from my cats at midnight for this, I wrangled two cats into carriers and then I drive them all the way down to be told this. So like a fool I elected to leave them there so they could at least get their exams and vaccines...5 HOURS LATER I have heard nothing and I call to see how everything is going and I'm told "we are very busy today but they will try and get to them after lunch" I got copies of the paperwork needed to take them elsewhere and collected my cats that sit there in their carriers for 5 HOURS and I will not be back.

They always go above and beyond to help you and your animals out. They are very very very good people and friendly as well. Thank you all for taken care of my animals all the time I appreciate it.

I was in the hospital and had Carolyn Farmer a customer of Good Shepherds. She was to feed my 4 rabbits and the agreement was to never remove the rabbits from my apt. Well she took my 8 year old Jimmy by moving her from my account to hers and put her to sleep. She then proceeded to take my baby rabbit who I just paid $500 dollars at Animal care Associates to have Spain and again Good Shepherd Animal Hospital took her and rehomed her. I tried to get information and these liars said she was out of state and number disconnected. See you in court thieves. You had my phone number in your records and did not try and contact me. I was perfectly fine to do so. The office manager Morgan lied through her teeth to cover things up but she will be called to testify why she arranged the rehoming of my baby. Imagine coming home and finding out your baby had been murdered by these people and My baby stolen

Best Veterinary practice I've ever had the pleasure to be associated with. The entire staff is extremely helpful, friendly & professional. Dr Sarah Stephenson is absolutely the BEST VETERINARIAN to ever practice medicine. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate & treats everyone as family. I cannot say enough kind things about her & this practice. I can safely say my cats are alive & well thanks to Dr Sarah & this practice.

I must rewrite my review now that I have spent some time there with my little sick piggie. This place is amazing and so are the people. They are there because they care, and not the pay! I love all these guys and Dr. Stephenson is such a caring, loving, and just a very wholesome person. Thank you guys for everything and helping my little buddy!!!

We live in Parkersburg and our first time with Dr. Stephenson we were sold. We will never go to the local vets again with their ungodly prices and rude people. We will from now on make the trip to Charleston for Dr. Stephenson and the staff at Good Shepherd. They were that impressive. Thank you guys.
