Nobody picks up ever when you call. I just had groceries stolen out of my cart as I was loading them into my car. Very big of whoever did that to a single mum.

It been a while since my last visit. The place is Hugh and nice. Basically all what you need from groceries will be found there. Their locations are fantastic and they are everywhere. Highly recommend place. ????

Staff can be downright rude, especially John who works in the Customer Service area. Not sure why they close the Customer Service department EVERY DAY BEFORE 8:00pm (including weekends), but it is a true inconvenience when they won't even go back to get a pack of cigarettes for customers who shop there literally EVERY DAY. I've been wanting to post this for a long time because this happens quite frequently, and it's getting to a point where something needs done. John always has a nasty attitude and his customer service is the worst I've ever seen in the business.
I hope Malcom, Robert, and Cameron get a raise, those guys are great, always a positive attitude and willing to help. Closing or refusing to serve from an area of your store for more than 3 hours is ridiculous, especially when it's not listed as a separate department online with special hours.
And no, it wasn't super slow at the time. Every checkout lane was full with people waiting in line. It's like that up until they close most nights.
And I'm still upset about changing the hours from 24/hrs to closing at 11.

I have only one beef with the store itself, and that’s the narrowness of the aisles, and the displays that make it even more difficult to navigate through. That being said, the absolute worst thing about this store is the clientele. The people who shop here are by and large, rich, white liberals who have literally no consideration for anyone other than themselves. They are rude, entitled people who have no respect for others. They will stand in front of you in an aisle with absolutely no regard for you or others. They are definitely enough reason to not shop here.

This is probably the nicest Kroger in the Charleston area. I've been to them all and this is my favorite. Only complaint is that they shut down the self checkout terminals and create lines when there is no need. Must be a requirement for them or something.

Very upscale and elevated in the produce and delicacy area! Wonderful selection of wines. Clean and well organized! Very nice employees. Clean parking lot. Fresh seafood and meat department.

We don’t have Krogers where I live, but every time I go to one I wish we did! This one in particular was amazing! Gorgeous interior, spacious, extremely well stocked, great bakery and produce, and very well staffed.

My first trip into the Kroger at South Charleston in 30-35 years.
I went in for a couple of items and came out with a few bags. I especially enjoyed the deli area with a wonderful selection of cheeses, deli meats, baked goods, etc.
I've had a hard time finding good Pastrami. The lady working in the deli cut a thin slice for me to try. It was excellent.
The personnel were very helpful and courteous.
