Very disrespectful employees!! My mothers wallet was stolen and the workers were very rude about it! I’d never recommend this store to anyone and I’ll continue making Facebook post hoping others will see how this place is and not shop there as well! Oh and you need to get rid of those dollar tree cameras and update to something that’s worth something ? my mothers whole life was in that wallet! I hope all these thieves have a field day at your store cause I’m just gonna make it be known the cameras don’t work well enough to see who’s stealing anything! That came from the managers mouth!! Happy shopping y’all ?

They have no electric carts for those who are disabled. I have a very hard time walking long distances and when asked if they have motorized carts I was told nope. It is sad that I paid for a membership that I can’t completely enjoy due to nerve damage in my body. Please think of this for future people who need it.

I got my eye's examined over the summer. I was told they did not have a card machine (which is fine). I paid in cash, but I did not get a receipt. I got my prescription and when I got home to order the glasses online, I realized that I could not read any of the writing. Even more frustrating, the office number on the prescription from the doctor was listed as a place in Tennessee and just crossed out. I have had extreme difficulty reaching anyone to resolve this issue (no one answers the phone at Sam's Optical when I've tried to call and I haven't had time to stop back in person). It is October and I still haven't gotten my glasses and no one can read the prescription that I have; At this point, I may have to just accept my loss and get my eyes examined again somewhere else.

We have been using the Sam’s club pick up for close to a year. I always order and my husband picks up. They changed their policy and no longer allow this. Which is fine. You now have to add an authorized person to pick up. I asked the lady on the phone if I could do this by phone or in writing via email as they policy was unknown to us and it was too late to change it online without canceling the order. I figured we could easily fix the issue as my husband was there waiting on them to bring out the groceries. The employee raised her voice and became very rude. I just hung up the phone. This is the problem with big chains like this. They do not care about their customers. We will no longer be shopping at Sams, not that they care as indicated by their employee.

Sam’s refused to allow me to pick up my wife’s pickup order and was very rude and unprofessional. I talked to a manager, and they didn’t care either.

My husband went to the Charleston, WV location on 9/17/2020 for an eye appointment, which was scheduled about a week in advance. At the time of scheduling they mentioned that the appointment would be $99, and that their doctor was not yet set up to take insurance. My husband arrived for the appointment and was told the payment needed to be in cash, that they did not have a credit card machine. OK, that's strange, and should have been mentioned at the time of scheduling. Then he finishes the appointment and wants to pick out frames and lenses. He is told that he needs to make an appointment for that and the first appointment is 2 weeks out. He explained that we are leaving town in two weeks and needs his glasses before he leaves. No alternatives or solution was offered. This is the craziest thing I've ever heard. He said there were two sales clerks working the area, and no other customers. He couldn't figure out why they couldn't just help him. The only reason we went to Sam's for the eye appointment, was so we could order glasses and get them in a timely manner. If we were not going to be able to order the glasses on-site, we should have been informed at the time of making the appointment, so we wouldn't have wasted the trip. We went online to order the glasses ourselves. That involved me measuring, in millimeters, the distance between the pupils. I was very uncomfortable doing that, but we needed the glasses in a timely manner, so we did what we needed to do.

Location does not take credit cards????? And this is not something that was explained when the appointment was set up. Receptionist has an attitude. Everybody was unwilling to help me come to a solution.

I went to the South Charleston, WV Sam's Club Optical Center on August 4 to get a replacement for a broken eyeglasses frame. Robin assisted me. I was MOST FAVORABLY IMPRESSED with the service I got from her! She was very knowledgeable, competent and friendly. Robin cheerfully and efficiently went out of her way to make sure that I promptly got what I needed. She has also in the past assisted my wife with her eyeglasses needs and my wife also thinks very highly of Robin and the great job that she does. I hope that her boss sees this review.

Driving home from Savannah GA to Detroit Mi. Needed to find a Sam’s Club optical to repair my husbands glasses from a lens popping out. Meet the nicest and most competent employee. She was absolutely wonderful. We are back on the road with clearer vision as she cleaned my glasses too. Thank you

The Dr tried to tell me that I didn't need the glasses that I have had for almost thirty years and told my son the same about the glasses he has had for four years. The receptionist and Dr were both very nice but the Dr didn't seem to care enough to do his job properly.

The lenses quality is so bad!! after only 9 months the lenses looks like if I scratched it heavily, knowing that i'm a very gentle user and I take care of my glasses, that never happened with me before.

The Doctor's office & the Vision Center inside are awesome for saving money. I have 2 teenage boys with no vision insurance so it helps us out a lot! I don't think they have insurance on their glasses like Walmart so I'm hoping my son is more responsible now! (Sports glasses are worth the investment!!)
