Doesn't matter when you call, you will hold for at least 15 minutes and 9 times out of 10, you will be disconnected when you reach the end of the hold queue. All just to be met with rude people who hang up when they feel like it. I have called the national number twice and gotten the answers that the local office won't help me with.

Everyone I have talked to at this office has been so amazingly helpful and friendly. I can’t thank them enough for all their help. I’ve heard horror stories about the hassle of applying for Medicare and Social Security but thanks to the employees here, it has been very easy for me. No problems.

I took three clients from a local rehab in there and they were out within 20 minutes all three of them getting Social security cards

I was robbed on April 3rd 2023 and filed police report and was told by The Social Security Office to bring back Proff of Identity!! Then went to Department of Motor Vehicles for identification Proff and returned to The Social Security Administration in Charleston West Virginia and was told they wouldn't except a Legal Document from The Department of Motor Vehicles by The Recipient at the Front Desk!!

I just attempted three separate calls to this place, the first one either dropped or was terminated without a word at around 7 minutes.The second after an 8 minute wait the lady who answered immediately hung up after saying "Social security" before I could even get the phone to my ear,The third one after another 8 minute wait I finally got to talk to her but after telling her what I was instructed to do by a previous employee she contradicted that and then as I was in the middle of asking for a clarification she hung up.

I waited on hold for theory minutes to speak to someone. Finally, a man comes on the line saying, "Social Security." I began speaking, and he pretended he couldn't hear me and hung up. It's sad how lazy and incompetent our government office workers have become. Do your job, or step down so someone else can.
