The Shops at Kanawha is a convenient retail strip in the heart of Kanawha City. It offers a great amount of diversity with stores including a Kroger food store, a discount store, Gabes, a dollar tree, a shoe store, and a phone store. There is also a workout place, a tanning salon, and a Chinese buffet with really good, reasonably priced food. The area has really convenient restaurants like a sub shop, a bar, and an Applebee's. The DMV is located there as well. It is a nice little slice of retail for a shopping spree, though some find the shoe store's selection disappointing.

I've been here twice now and I really like it. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. It's going to be a favourite place to dine. Very clean and the staff are wonderful.
