Nice gift shop inside the state museum . It's big and stocked with a variety of state themed souvenirs and local products . Lots of variety from local wines and honey and maple syrup to blown glass , books and candles. If you are a pressed penny collector , there is a machine inside the gift shop with four different designs - the cost is 75 cents + one penny.

The cashier Mr. Nolen was very helpful in helping me select rings made with stone and silver. I will highly recommend if you are in the vicinity to stop in to the museum gift shop and browse. I will definitely be returning.

I stopped here a couple of months ago with some of my coworkers. I admired the West Virginia merchandise and all the Mountain State themed knick knacks. There was homemade honey and other random things that caught my attention, but I couldn't get over the special keychains. I will be back.

Great selection of souveneirs, t-shirts, magnets, books and other items related to West Virginia, and unlike some other similar shops I've been to, they're reasonably priced. Shop is clean, big, open and well-lit, and the employees are helpful as well.
