NROCKS Outdoor Adventures offers an amazing and unforgettable Via Ferrata experience in West Virginia. It is a fantastic, fun, and awesome activity that is both mentally and physically challenging. The route provides a perfect mix of challenging and doable climbing, traversing two massive vertical fins of rock with absolutely stunning scenery. It is well organized, well managed, and smooth from start to finish. The guides are fantastic, amazing, helpful, kind, patient, and encouraging. They do a fabulous job managing groups with very different fitness and skill levels, making everyone feel safe, confident, and included. The safety briefing is clear and thorough. The experience is definitely a workout that gets the adrenaline pumping. It can be scary and exposed at times, but the supportive environment brings everyone together to accomplish it. The suspension bridge is a thrill and moves a lot. An optional climb to the very top offers unforgettable views. The entire experience takes about four hours. The hike up is easy compared to the fast-paced, rocky hike down, so watch your knees. Base fitness is enough for most, though more upper body strength helps for the optional climb. Helpful tips include packing a collapsible hiking pole, small snacks, and wearing sunscreen. Guests highly recommend this adventurous and unique experience, often wanting to do it again and again. Affordable, clean guest rooms are also available.
This was such a fun experience! Our guides, Celeste and Josh, were friendly and very helpful. They accommodated all levels of climbers and were lovely to chat with. Not a huge fitness requirement here with a good amount of breaks but take lots of water and a good mindset.

We had such a beautiful day for the Via Ferrata. Both of our guides were amazing and very friendly. Climbing both fins is definitely one of the best experiences you can have especially on the east coast. Definitely get out and experience it as much as possible.
