This funeral sucks and my family and I will never use this place again. My Grandmother died right before Christmas we had her viewing and the she got cremated. My father is in charge of her estate and every thing but this funeral home didn't care they let my Dad's sister basically take control and do whatever she wanted when my father knew my grandmother his mother's wishes were yet no one cared. They my dad got sick at the beginning of this year and had to put off her burial until he could get everything arranged and even told Travis or Justin whatever hos name is that he would be coming by in a few weeks to take care of it. Then a few days after April 9th we find out that they had given his mother my Grandmother's ashes to his sister and they buried her without telling anyone. So they not only violated the law and my grandmother wishes but they never told my dad anything about his sister doing this which then none of my family got to attend the burial neither my Aunt my Grandmother's sister didn't get to go to the burial. So as soon as we can we will see if we can sue but we can only afford to go after 1 person at a time cause lawyer are expensive. So if you want to take your family here I wouldn't cause they will just do whatever they want and not obey and persons wishes or ever the Will that my grandmother had wrote up putting my father in charge of everything not his sisters!

Randy Amos and Paul Carvelli have built an incredibly compassionate business of caring for people throughout the pre-planning, viewing, funeral and post funeral process. We lost both my mother inlaw and my mother a month apart this year, so we experienced deep loss and sorrow repeatedly over three months. The Amos Carvelli team supported us, led us and cared for us every step of the way. We are thankful for pre-planning arrangements but still, there were many decisions to make and their staff was with us each step through the process. The kindness, compassion, empathy and support is unmatched as they serve their customers with great care. I have experienced another funeral service in the Clarksburg area when my father passed away five years ago. The service my family received there was questionable. Amos Carvelli cares for their clients from the start of your relationship. They are thorough when it comes to explaining the financial side and their customer service is exceptional. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

I have given a lot of thought as to whether or not to write this review. We celebrate the beginning of a life and we honor that life after death. Unfortunately our family feels deeply betrayed by the office manager by mishandling every aspect of honoring our loved one, a combat veteran, with careless documentation and actions. The cremains were labeled incorrectly, the death certificate was ordered with major errors and had to be reordered twice. After 4 attempts to correct the request for his military grave marker with egregious errors of his correct name, military record number, birthdate, death date, and others she attempted to submit that form to the VA without approval with errors withstanding. When confronted, the office manager had continual excuses contradicting previous excuses claiming procedural policies that she did not follow. The sudden unexpected death of our loved one was horrible, but the turmoil we endured with their office manager was gut wrenching. We feel disrespected, our loved one dishonored and purposefully unimportant. Rest assured he was very important to us. I sincerely hope this never happens to another family.

Some of the best people around. Amos Carvelli treats my family like their family. They're kind, compassionate and helpful. Thanks for taking care of my grandmother in the most respectful way. I see a few low-brow comments and it seems more of a reflection on the person leaving the comment than the funeral home.

I'm giving 1 star due to the behavior of one employee. I had a run in with this employee. "A +B" I attempted to apologize for my rudeness and disrespect to them. I normally do not act in that manner. -Even as I tried to apologize, this person was still rude. "A+B" . Well you have to be open to A-Z in your line of work. Fellow employees stood there, I was shocked. I was trying to apologize. This employee spoke to my mother with so much disrespect. That is why I got upset.There is a picture in the reception area of this funeral home- it may have a charity linked to it. If the person in the picture knew my mother was treated in the manner that she was. Well, lets say -it wouldn't have gone over so well. The person in the picture and my mother were buddies.
