Knowledgeable and great with my dog! But you pay for it. The most expensive veterinary care in the valley.

Excellent! The vets and their entire staff are first class. Dr Sarah has a love affair with every animal she sees. She does extraordinary volunteer work abroad as well.

I appreciate the fact that we can make an appointment during the week and there is little waiting time. But if our pets need to be seen on an expedited basis, the staff will work us in. Everyone is professional and still friendly. They will take as much time with us as we need. The only suggestion I have is that if the staff offers treats to the clients, they should be yummier. While I was there (without an appointment that day), 4 out of 5 dogs turned their noses up at them.:)

The staff at Cross Lanes Veterinary Hospital is amazing. Watching Dr Chelsea and her assistant and the way they dealt with our Julia and her anxiety made our whole visit the best it could be. That’s not a surprise though, they have always been that way with all of fur babies. The whole staff is kind and caring.

Update2: Received test results by email and saw notes of medical history and medications within the document. Not sure where the communication breakdown happened between initial phone call, vet assistant, and veterinarian during initial exam, but glad they started keeping records now.
Update1: Got the test results within a week but the veterinarian called and gave them to me, I could tell she mostly called due to my previous review. She was rude to me until I let her know that I record all of my phone calls with Automatic Call Recorder. Then she explained the processes that she didn't bother to explain to me in the office visit. So if you go here, I recommend recording everything.
Previous review:
I called ahead and asked whether they could do an in house thyroid test for a new patient. They said "Yes." Once I got to the office visit, I was told they can not do an in house thyroid test for new patients, only established patients. Thyroid tests for new patients have to be sent off, which of course costs more than in house tests. I told the Vet Assistant all of the medical history and details and yet when the veterinarian came in I was asked to repeat everything. The veterinarian even said, "I understand your dog is not on any heartworm or flea preventative so I recommend doing a heartworm test." I had told them on the phone and had told the veterinarian assistant during the office visit that she is on Revolution I don't understand why everything has to be repeated 4 times and I think maybe someone who works there writing something down or otherwise making some type of record, even electronic, would be a good habit for the workers to start. The visit and tests totaled $530. I was told on the phone and by the front desk that test results would be available within 3 days. The veterinarian said it could take weeks. I think the thing that bothers me the most is the dishonesty of the initial phone call, that feels like they were trying to lure me in the door. I had previously called several places and selected Cross Lanes Veterinary Hospital specifically because they said they could do an in house test. I had consulted with a veterinarian online before scheduling this appointment and she told me to find a place that could do the test in house. I will definitely not be returning.

The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The wait area was clean and divided between dog and cats. Dr. McNeel did an awesome, gentle but thorough exam of our senior golden.

This was my first time using CLVH and I was very impressed with the staff and how smoothly things ran. They were able to take me back quickly, assess my pet's problems and within the day I had bloodwork back and a prescription to address the problem. This is much different than my previous vet who didn't seem to take my concerns seriously and essentially allowed my pet to worsen and claimed everything happening to him was due to his age. I am so glad I took him to CLVH.
