“Stopped to purchase Easter flowers for the cemetery. Had a very good selection. Had to wonder in the makeup section where I found some very nice lipstick. I have been watching videos about Dollar Tree make up and hair care products so I have been trying a few things. I love their lipsticks and lip oil. I bought a few new ones to try today.”
“Dollar General recently remodeled their store which is a major improvement. The freezer section is larger and has an increased selection of frozen foods and dairy products. The aisle are more easily accessible and the flow of the store is much better. I find the current staff competent and friendly. With the new remodel of the store their is more selection and new items added. I am in this Dollar General frequently and is most convenient. Parking at times can be a bit chaotic but they are limited in the amount of property they own. However after the post office next door closes you are able to park ther as well. Prior to the remodeling of the store, especially during the evening hours the registers were unattended but that has improved. They now have a self service register which I’m not find if in any store. I find that it takes jobs away from people that need a place to work. Most of the time I’ll stand in line and wait my turn for a register with a person working. I have only used the self checkout around 5 times and that is only because I was in a hurry and had was unable to wait.Overall this Dollar General is a convenient and friendly place to shop.”

“I love the dollar tree all though I got to busy looking at everything and didn’t get to take many pics they have so much cute decor for spring and in the 5$ aisle they have so much cute stuff for garden and outdoor I love it”
“Love this place, so much stuff to look at, but I would suggest for them to have more employees working. The last few times I visited, there was only 1 register open, and the line was all the way across the store.”
“The staff are exceptional. The store is nearly always stocked up properly, and the monthly deals are sure to attract any type of customer. From top to bottom, this store is probably the best in the area.They give you a feeling of being in a neighborhood general store.It's the perfect last-minute stop for many living out in these Lakewood area neighborhoods.”

“I would give a 5 star the only reason I’m not is because the store was very unorganized and dirty. It didn’t really look like the employees cleaned up or cared that people left their trash behind. Maybe they jus hadn’t had time to clean it yet or maybe they were reorganizing the store? The staff was nice and they did have some decor the other dollar tree didn’t have yet. Lots of back to school stuff to choose frm and they also had lots of cute craft stuff I love all the dollar trees but this one was the messiest yet. Lol”
“You have everything in the store that anybody would need except for the Pepsi product Mountain Dew melon Splash zero. Cannot find it anywhere I wish you all would start getting it in your store if you do please let me know”
“This is a convenient and budget-friendly store. Although it is a smaller store, it still has a variety of household essentials and snacks. While there were a few items that I couldn't find, the friendly staff was happy to help me find alternative options. Overall, I had a positive shopping experience at this Dollar General and will visit again.”
“Very clean and well stocked. The staff was working diligently & helpful to us. Convenient to the Interstate & route 60! Plenty of parking and safe. Buggies and baskets. Tons of snacks and good options. Tons of hygiene and such. Close to gasoline & 84 Lumber. Young staff but they work!”
“Came in the store to shop for a few things. My friend started feeling dizzy and the clerk immediately came to our rescue. She offered a step stool for him to sit while I gathered my items and also found a item I couldn't find. Service with a smile! Store had everything but diet Pepsi in the six pack...”

“I love goin to the dollar general the one by the mound in south Charleston has a wide variety of lawn decor for outdoors stuff for arts n crafts ur essential needs for ur home and kids. They have great prices on some household items as well and Dnt forget to download their app and clip the save 5$ wen u spend 25$ on saturdays and clip their other available coupons for extra saving. The location is easy to find and it’s usually not to crowded. I like to take my time and look through the craft section.”

The store was neat, and things were easy to find, which made shopping a breeze. The staff was friendly and ready to assist, ensuring a pleasant visit. “Clean, well stocked and organized, very helpful employees/clerks, quick trip in and right back out. This particular DG actually sells fresh produce. Grits Farm is local so that may be a contributing factor. Definitely love this DG over all others that I have personally been to.”
“I like the service I just download General store. The clerks are very friendly they know me when I walk in they greet me by my name. The clerk Charles went to school with one of my sons. He's a really nice young man. He's very helpful if I need to look for something, he does not hesitate to help. The other clerks are helpful as well. I am disabled and sometimes need help getting things from the shelves. There's always somebody there to lend a hand and I am always grateful. The crew DG has working here is a great bunch of people! ? ????”

“A nice, clean, new Dollar General store, with fresh and frozen food. There isn't as much selection as a big box store, or a supermarket, but it's convenient, and they'll have everything you need, and without the very high prices of typical convenience stores. They have regular checkouts, and the option of self-checkout, if that's what you prefer. I prefer the self-checkout myself.”
“I'm not going to say this store doesn't have it's flaws BUT, this is the ONLY family dollar I've been that doesn't have rude employees. Well, unless you're stealing, of course. The parking lot usually is trashed but it isn't their fault, there is ALWAYS someone asking for money or cigarettes. There is an abundance of bums and drug addicts, sadly. That is anywhere on the Westside. I definitely feel for the employees there. They even have to have security there. The ONLY negative thing I have to say about the store itself that they can control would be the prices. A lot of things doesn't have price tags.”

“This was an emotional roller coaster of a general store. I felt my physical form evolving beyond what was comprehensible. I realized that savings like .58 cents off a beverage was one of the true greatest joys in life. Nothing can ever equal what I experienced in this store it's greater than ever encounter with my family to date. I would marry Dollar General if it had a conscious and also I bought a Coca Cola from there”
