The lodge's location is ideal for those seeking outdoor adventures, with easy access to nearby attractions like Blackwater Falls State Park and the charming towns of Davis and Thomas. While the facilities may not be modern, Alpine Lodge provides a great value and a true mountain experience for its guests.
Basic. Shower door wouldn’t open all the way so had to squeeze to get in. Overall not bad. Friendly office staff.

Wonderful Valentine's Day dinner last night. Excellent mushroom soup fried oysters, surf and turf. Huge lobster tail all in all. We really enjoyed it. The ambience is perfect for a mountain Lodge, great display of old earth and ware pots and pans. Beautiful wood carvings on the wall will go back.

Their rooms are clean, warm and comfortable every winter. It’s our go-to for skiing in Canaan Valley. Really enjoy the food and service at the restaurant. When my son forgot something in our room that was important to him, they did a really great job of getting it back to us which we really appreciate.
