“The girl I was riding with got a flat tire towards the bottom of Backbone Mountain. She had no spare, no donut, and no money. A lady who pulled over to assist, suggested we call Johnston's. John and another guy arrived within 30 minutes. The tire couldn't be fixed. He towed her car to his garage and GAVE her a used tire. He even had to switch around the tires bcuz they were different sizes & didn't charge her a dime. She offered to bring money back down, he told her to "pay it forward!!"”
