“The Augusta Heritage center is an amazing confluence of music, dance, arts and crafts. I come as a singer during vocal week, and get to sing with the most amazing musicians. My instrumentalist friends of mine rave about bluegrass week and old time week, and of course Irish week. It is a fantastic place to be immersed in music. At home, if I sing to myself while walking down the street, people stare at me. At Augusta, people are going to join in and help me with the harmonies. It's a magical place, and I live off the musical buzz for months afterwards.”
