“We stayed here the first night last year, and the second time recently, both in winter. Now this hotel becomes our favorite place to stay for SnowShoe ski trip, when its ski in and out hotels are not available or insanely expensive. Although it’s one hour away, the price is unbelievable. What is also unbelievable is the breakfast, with so many options, hot and cold. It also has a great restaurant onsite. Very clean room, very friendly staff.”

“A very unique renovated inn, more beautiful than its Memphis namesake. Many pieces of antique furniture in the public spaces and in the rooms. Beautiful stained glass windows. The rooms are all quite large. They have many of the interesting qualities of a historic inn, like creaky wood floors and steps that give it character and let you know when ghosts are present. The restaurant here has good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with beautiful rooms and large tables inside, a huge balcony with a high angle view of the town.

Rooms: The rooms are very large, quite nice and well equipped with Keurig, mini-fridge and microwave. Most have new modern bathrooms.

Walkability: It's walkable to areas around the campus, but you're on top of the hill, so it's not the easiest walk for less able older folks. You could walk to town, but it's a pretty long (albeit, pretty on-campus) walk to sights and restaurants in town.”

“Good clean hotel, no frills, low cost and just right for a family. Breakfast is wonderful, good flavor, nice selection. Across from the hospital but there was minimal traffic noise, even on a Saturday night. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area”
