After 30 years I have decided to switch to FFCU. Why? 1. Mobile deposit stopped working months ago with no ETA or call back. 2. ATM is always down. 3. 9-5 hours so I can’t leave work to deposit checks. 4. Sitting at bank now and they keep helping people in other lane. Maybe this lane is closed but they forgot to turn off the green open light. 5. No location or ATM on east side anymore. Time to move on and try something else.

This bank is all big business. I have been a customer since the times of One Valley Bank. They always find ways to charge you fees, put holds on accounts, and to simply make everything difficult. On my latest adventure I went in to cash a check and was told they had to deposit it because it was an out of state check. WHAT!?!? The check was a business account backed by Chase bank. I’ve been lied to multiple times (length of holds, fees, benefits of this account over that account). I have done all my banking here (checking, savings, and mortgage). I have already closed my savings, refinanced my mortgage, and am moving my checking. DO NOT BANK HERE!

Got in the drive threw line at 4:40 got to the window at 5:01. They tell me they shut off the computer even though they seen me there waiting in line for 20 plus minutes.

So I cant pay my auto loan on new app due to not having a trust account . Call to pay over phone says 60 minute plus wait( called past 3 days and says same thing) local office closes at 4 pm and they said I can't drop off payment in drop box. So for people that work during the 9 to 4 hours of bank office time, good luck. I can't stand this company now. Atleast when.it was bbt I could pay on app.

They lock your card due to fraud and when you call the fraud department to clear the issue you wait 45 minutes only for them to pretend not to hear you and hang up. This happened twice and left me at a gas station for almost 2 hours waiting to clear this issue up. Do not use this bank if you can help it. Old BB&T was even better than this garbage. Moving my account ASAP!

I was buying a home they pre-approved me for the loan of the house. I did everything they said all the forms, paid fees, home inspection, and all. Being in the medical field my 2020 W-2 was lower then my 2019 W-2 due to covid did work that much so they said covid was not a valid excuss for low income although I work in the hospital with covid patients. The appraisal was set for this week. I had to go to another bank which did give me the loan thank God. They shouldn't have pre-approved me and then turn after everything to say sorry we can't give you the loan. Would trust them just saying yeah your pre-approved

Have had multiple issues with tellers putting money in wrong accounts or not doing what I've asked. Waited in line for 20 mins today. Unacceptable.

Odessa in Fairmont, WV was wonderful when I purchased my home but unfortunately when selling the SAME home, the loan officer: Adam Levitsky was HORRIBLE. This process took six months with 3 months occurring AFTER A GOOD APPRAISAL and no inspection required. When asking Adam who to contact to file a complaint, he refused to give me his supervisors name and told me to “look it up on the websiteâ€. This was the buyers first home and I feel badly for him and this awful experience. In addition, BB&T refused to credit me $75 for a POA fee (I needed for closing since I was having surgery and couldn't be there for the first of SEVERAL closing dates), and the interest for 6 months of waiting to close on this house. They took no blame for this at all. Buyers beware....shop with another bank!!
