Decent store if you need something cheap in a pinch. They have a lot of items inside to browse, fun store walk around. Service as expected, would be nice if self checkout register worked

I am the wife of West Virginia Delegate Larry D. Kump and gave 1 star NOT I Repeat NOT because of the employees or the manager at this location but because their is absolutely no reason this store should be without heat! The employees are working in a freezer and customers end up leaving because it's colder inside than it is outside. This has gone on for 2 weeks and I have contacted the CEO demanding the heat be repaired immediately! This is absolutely egregious and unexceptable and these employees risk getting pneumonia and having to wear hats, coats and gloves just to stay warm is inexcusable and putting the employees health at risk. Do NOT reprimand the store manager as she has absolutely no control in this situation. This needs to be immediately taken care of and the excuse the part has no ETA is pure laziness and ignorance on corporate standards. I highly SUGGEST the corporate office have this immediately taken care of and I will once again contact the CEO of it has not been done so!

This was my 3rd time here. If you like dealing with rude, unhappy combative people (actually its one woman-possibly the mgr) then come here. My first visit, I needed something off the very top shelf and I could tell by looking at her she was having a bad day, so I literally said, “I hate to bother you but could you help me…..” her response was, “NO” I actually laughed cuz I thought she was kidding. She looked at me annoyed so I said, “Are you kidding? Then can someone else?” She turned and walked away. I had no idea if she was going to help me or not. Lol Then I hear her yell from an isle, “What did I want?” After dropping them on the floor and breaking one, I take a bin with no price to checkout. The cashier was very nice that day. *I actually forgot about this incident and shopped here again as I wasn’t going to.
The second visit, she was there stocking, walked past me shopping but doesn’t ask if I need help or even a smile or say hello. Other workers stood talking about another employee and her personal business without a care.
Returned an item purchased from that visit on my third. Gold mirrors that were leaning up against a table with xmas mark downs. It looked like the sale included the stuff on and around the table. A Cashier started helping me make the return with my receipt. An older woman joined, no hello, no smile, looked at me as I was making friendly chatter with the cashier about my mistake then repeats (in a hostile rude tone-like she wanted to argue?) that the mirrors were not on sale which I already knew due to what I paid for them. I said that’s why I’m returning them. It was a simple mistake, nobody needed to be upset or argue, I couldn’t understand what her issue was. It was VERY uncomfortable. After I got my refund I said thank you and she said, “Yeah”. I WILL NOT be shopping there again. I was wondering why they had so much stock in that store. The pregnant cashier who helped me was very sweet and friendly.
While writing this I remember how I felt during the first visit with this person. You don’t expect to meet someone in retail this distraught. Its confusing and a bit scary when they are visibly angry. I hope this person gets help, I’ve been there and it can get better. **It shouldn’t be taken out on your customers**.

This store has just as much to offer as a small market, however my last trip the air conditioning was broken and the freezers were not working either. I felt bad for the cashier and told her so.

An employee was very rude to me because I had a mini backpack (I have worn this bag in different DGs before) on saying I needed to put it at the front counter or I needed to leave she was very ignorant and kept giving me dirty look would not recommend going to this DG

I enjoy shopping here for my household needs. Well I'm gonna edit this. Went In this store on 9/1/21. Carts of goods sitting everywhere. One person trying her best to stalk, people waiting to check out. Hire another person.
