“Hafer’s is by far the best gun shop and gunsmithing business I have ever been to. They have such a huge selection at both Hagerstown and Falling Waters locations. The staff is so friendly and they were able to get my pistol repairs done in a timely manner. I was even told that it would take a few months to get all the parts in and it only took less than a month ! I have purchased numerous firearms from Hafer’s and they make the process so easy and quick, even with the transfers. “Sent this guy two e-mails about a week apart telling him I was a long time Instructor who recently had family move from our state to his and very close to him explaining I wanted to 'hook them up' with a 'small, local shop' and never got a response. Waited about a month. So either this FFL only sells to his immediate family & buddies (despite advertising-and the reason the ATF came down on FFL's in the 90's) or he's severely ill (a posibility) or he just plain doesn't care and/or takes e-mail queries like mine as 'some kind of hogwash' ... I will now recommend one of the bigger 'stores' one can (from what I read) actually FIND...”
