i moved to the area 2 years ago have been going almost everyday to get gas at this location to fill up for my trips to work since i commute a good distance. tonight was my first bad experience and will be my reason for going to sheetz or bfs from now on. my bf and i went in tonight. we went to go get drinks and fill up on gas. i got dr pepper and it was watered down. i work in the restaurant business and i assume it was most likely empty in the back or maybe broken. whatever it happens i ended up pouring it out and going to get the cherry flavoring to make a cherry sprite. the cherry has a sensor that puts a certain amount when you press it i wanted more than one but less then two so i ended up pouring maybe a splash out. and then filling my cup up. an employee middle age man walks up to me and very rudely tells me he’s been watching me and i need to stop pouring drinks out. i was stunned i didn’t even know what to say. honestly his rude tone is what caught me the most off guard. i don’t say anything and then he keeps going saying i poured four drinks out and that’s when i spoke up and said no i did not. he then goes on saying i need to pay for the ones that i poured out. i was baffled im supposed to pay for a watered down dr pepper and a splash of cherry flavoring. and the other 3 imaginary drinks this man made up in his head. i’ve had a long day at work and work with rude customers all the time. i don’t have the energy to argue with someone who clearly isn’t worth it so i didn’t bother responding we payed for the drinks and gas and left. i won’t be back. i’ve always had great interactions with the workers but this one by far was rude and plain dumb. i’m a server and go to school i interact with customers and people i am expected to provide a good experience for. hopefully he reads this because i have some advice if i were him speaking to a customer id say “hi i saw you poured out a drink is something wrong? is there anything i can do for you?” if i sensed there was an issue not be rude and ramble nonsense.
edit:
i want to add that i almost always go in the mornings before work this is maybe my 3rd time in the past two years going at night. i do not care about the people he deals with during night shift. i’ve worked night shift at sheetz and know the type of people that come in, act crazy, are rude and disrespectful. i am not one of those people. i appreciate customer service workers and always want to make their lives easier because i know how it feels to work this type of job. maybe i got unlucky coming in when he was working saying i have never see him in the morning. my advice to anyone going to this location, try to go during the day lol staff is much kinder and willing to help and resolve issues then cause more. imagine if i had been one of the rude crazy people that i know workers encounter. the way he chose to handle the misunderstanding could’ve ended very badly, just saying.
Update: (because I am pressed lol) just went to sheetz drink came out watered down they saw me poor it out and asked to help me. That's how it's done.

2nd time I’ve been there in a week and ran into the Shift supervisor Jes . 1st time I walked up to the register and it looked she was doing so I waited she didn’t look up for almost 2 min completely ignoring me.
I asked for change since I took out cash from their ATM. She said I had to buy something, I responded “I did I used your ATM machine, you all get money from that ATM.”
She went back to doing what she was doing and told me I had to wait for for someone to buy something in cash. I walked out.
Today I went back and this time I we actually tool money out again, and went to buy two drinks. Looks like she had a new trainee when I asked him for Change she said it was a company policy. The younge Trainee apologized, and then she said “OO UOU DONT NEED TO TO APOLOGIZE TO THEM”.
ROCS Jes is not managerial material. I have never had trouble with the ROCS in Inwood, or the one on Exit 16W since that is litterly where I always get change so I can buy my hay from the farm down the street.
I will be calling corporate on Monday.

Clean store, lots of snack and food options. Clean restrooms and plenty of gas pumps.

Rude uncareing fake manager rest of staff is great. Got hired and sent to this store for training. Everyone said I was doing great I asserted myself and learned everything about working the deli and the cashier. The general manager “mat” said I was picking up on things slower than most and this might not be the job for me and he told that to the manager of store I was gonna be sent to. Was put on schedule for 2 days the next week. Then I was fired by mat. I will not be shopping here again.

The employees at this location are always friendly. There seems to be enough employees to keep the line moving. I appreciate that this store is clean and well kept. Only wish you were open later!

This place is a wreck of recent. Two separate times in the past month all of the gas pumps and credit card machines were down. The last time I went in at 9pm and the cashier told me the pumps and credit card machines had been down since 4pm. And then yesterday, i pull up at 530pm to a sign at the door that the store is temporarily closed. Not a good look for a store that has sheetz right down the road and a new gas station across the street. I gave 2 stars only because the employees are usually friendly.

Seriously so this is how you're doing for "fresh" now? A cup with a dozen soggy fries, green peppers that were clearly out of a can.. next you gonna double the coffee monthly subscription? When I picked up dinner for the family tonight and the combos were not only two orders of fries but to find them in a small sealed container with about 20 fries soggy as hell you all ruined out evening.. stop being cheap it's French fries ffs

We have always called in our chicken order and sides and go pick up just now I called to place our order and was told they don't do that - so we said ok and hung up and decided we would just call elsewhere within minutes my phone rang and it was Rocs calling back - the question was misunderstood they thought he was asking if they had a mobile order or something like that - shift manager called me herself and did take our order and we will shortly go too pick it up I just want to.say thanks for going the extra mile and callinge back and getting everything straight thanks again

This review is to replace a review I made several months ago. The chicken we received tonight was like the best yet. It was like what we had gotten in the past except for the bad experience of a few months back. Thanks ROCS for another great meal.

Clean store but they don’t mandate mask so the store feels dirty because of it! Don’t want to walk into a store right now with 10 people that don’t wear a mask! It’s gross! It sucks that it’s not the store fault but even if there was a sign and a hey please due to store policy we are not letting people in without a mask! But you can buy one of you like! Bam that would have made me feel better and you just made yourself some money! People would understand the severity of people where not scared to call it out!
