“Prices are awesome. Well organized and clean. 3 stories of treasures. Great variety as well. People friendly. Definitely not a place if you are looking for furniture but anything else under the sun.”
“I recommend this a place to check out if your in the upper Ohio valley for anyone who collects glassware or if your anyone who likes vintage items or antiques at all. There's not just glassware at blooms shop but there's always other cool stuff too . The owner is a great guy, who is usualy the guy here you'll find dealing with customers.
Blooms shop has a wide selection the best quality collectible glassware, especially Duncan Miller and decorative mid century pieces like vases from glass companies like Viking, L.E Smith, and Blanco as well as collectible cookware and kitchen items like Pyrex and Fire King. Wellsburg is the town that this shop is in and it has lots of history for glass production and tommy has a lot in the shop that's been made here in wellsurg. So if your into local history here consider that something that'll interest you being at Tommy Bloom's. Very good place to find holiday collectibles at each holiday like Halloween Christmas and Easter always a lot of cool vintage blow molds and much more to find to decorate with for the holidays or to add to your collection around each of the holidays.
Everything there is very reasonably priced which I feel no complaints could be made being to high. He is constantly getting new stuff in so you may find something not yet priced, just ask on the spot, but on the upside of this fact means you will find something new every time you go there.
Very patient and kind, and knows just about everything there is to know about early American glassware. Most of what I know about glassware I learned from him. Ived ask so many questions that would of driven an average person insane if asked but didn't seem to phase tommy and still gives me good welcome back every time. I rate every visit with 5 stars
You can find him as a vendor showcasing top Duncan Miller pieces up at the annual Duncan Miller glass show event at the Washington county fair grounds every year.
*FYI
I think he closes at 230”
“Helpful staff. The assistant called the owner about a price and the price was excellent. Good selection of old women's clothes. Two neat cats! (we love cats). Be careful parking and crossing the street during Follansbee's busy hours.”
