The fort holds historical significance and is a must for history enthusiasts in this area. It is surprisingly tucked away but well worth a visit. The site features artifacts and offers a glimpse into its storied past as a pivotal outpost.

Truly a gem of a museum! It was much more thorough than I was expecting, and tells the stories of different people from Colonial times. The staff member at the museum was incredible and extremely knowledgeable, and guided me through all the exhibits

Detailed tour from the very knowledgeable tour guide. Small but informative and well-designed and modernized museum. Includes a log structure from 1783. Gives detailed and balanced perspectives on the fort and regions history and also places it in the context of its times.
