Called records for a specific date of a past surgery and was laughed at. Is my health crisis hysterical? Then was told to call Morgantown, which they said "we took over the hospital but all the records from BEFORE we took over are in a warehouse and we can't access those"WHAT IS THE POINT OF ALL THE TIIIIIIIIIME IT TAKES TO BE SEEM IF NO ONE IS KEEPING AN ACCESSIBLE RECORD OF OUR HEALTH!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, have to say that the overall rating on this facility is very poor, however, the personnel, primarily nursing staff, is off the charts. Compassionate, caring, and thorough. They all go above and beyond for the needs of their patients. Even if the doctoral staff does not. Specifically Rn JoAnn and Rn Jane Rae were both absolutely angelic and unforgettable for certain.

Designated as my brothers surrogate, I am the one who gets the information about his condition and passes it on to the rest of the family. On 2/8/22 , I called and the nurse refused to give me any information on my brother. She stated the information was given to another family member. I explained to her that I was designated as the Surrogate and the other two family members were points of contact. She looked in the medical record and confirmed that I was the surrogate. I explained that the doctors in the hospital had called me the night before and that one had contacted me this morning about needed information about family's wishes of continued care. She still refused to give me an update on my brother. This kind of behavior is inexcusable and prevents me from making critical decisions on my brother's care. She should not be a nurse as she has no concept of what surrogacy for patients is all about and the ramifications of denied medical information dissemination to legal surrogate, places the medical facility at risk for possible litigation if patient were to die. Having no compassion or empathy for patients or their loved ones disqualifies her to be in direct patient care.

This place is known by locals as the bandaid station. The nurses in the ER on night shift are all rude, and mouthy. They sit and complain about nothing to do but they won't help u or anything. Waited 4 hours me being the only patient in waiting room and they only had 2 other patients. The doctor didn't introduce himself, the nurses was horrible. Even if I am dying do not bring me back to this pathetic place!

I have always received great care when going to BCMH. Whether using the ER, LAB, CLINIC, or other departments. I have been seen in BCMH for many types of medical issues. The Doctors, Nurses, and Staff are kind and helpful. They do the best that they can. I am very thankful to have access to BCMH. I would have to travel an hour to Charleston or almost two hours to Morgantown. I trust BCMH to help me when needed. If they can not help me they will try to get me to someone who can. Maybe by ambulance ? or if sever illness or injury they do have access to Health Net air service. I hope I will never have to use it. Thank you BCMH everyone there you are great.?

If I could give them less I would. I’m out of town and I can’t get in touch with the people watching my 4 year old daughter. They told me they couldn’t give that information to me if she’s been checked in! Very rude lady! I told her that I could give her all the information including social to prove I’m her Mother and she told me (rudely) that I should call the cops for something like that. Then hung the phone up on me. Made me sick to my stomach how the ER staff acts in emergencies. (Not knowing if it’s a emergency yet... what Mother doesn’t call the hospital first if she can’t locate her children? My Mom always started there). Nasty people work there.

I took my mom to the e.r. for a UTI. The nurse assigned to her (can't remember her name) was pleasant and helpful. The rest of the nursing staff were abrupt to the point of rudeness. One, when I started to ask if I could get my mom some cold water, held up her hand and rapped out, "Find your nurse. I can't do anything for you." I didn't ask her to get the water. I didn't have a chance to specify that I'd purchase a bottle of water from the vending machine. She didn't give me an opportunity. There was much friendly chatter at the nurses' station but when I approached to ask if my mom's test results had come back, the entire mood changed to one of impatience, almost hostility. By their tight lipped, monosyllabic responses, it was abundantly clear that they did not want to be bothered. (I went to the nurses' station only twice in the three hours I was there.)

I took my sister-in-law and while she was getting testes done I went outside and smoked me a CIG and when I came back in the nurse pretty much yelled at me because I spend 3 damn trying to get back to her and they wouldnt anwser the alarm so yes I pressed it three more time and them what I need and she got angry with me but some of the nurse was cool and nices. Then there was another nurse while her iv was going off she came and unpluged it and took her blood pressure and then took her hand and move her where she wanted her too instead of using her word and letting her do it. There was some rude one there but there was some great amazing people there.
