Charming establishment near good restaurants and not far from the town. Peruvian purple throughout.

The b and b was nice enough but it should be listed that quiet seems to be a requirement. It is taped to the wall when you enter your room that it is a quiet room. The food was pleasant but you get no choice on what you are served you sit down and are served a plate of food no questions of diet. I would not recommend for a younger crowd as it is a particular experience and the reminders to remain quiet leave you feeling a bit unwelcome. It was central to many lovely places to eat including the vegan restaurant across the street which was amazing. All in all I would only recommend if you are looking for a very quiet solitary experience.

Went down to Explore Harper's Ferry and I couldn't have been more impressed with the place we stayed. It was clean, was very centrally located to all the hikes I went on, and the host Etel was very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay again!

Very welcoming. Warm breakfast each morning. Rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. Quiet place with adorable Peruvian decorations. Close to restaurants and walking distance to all of downtown. Nice seating area on front porch to enjoy the outdoors. Overall great experience. Skip the hotel. Etel is a great host.

We enjoyed our two night stay here. The owner, Eten, was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed breakfast with other guests and the location, which includes parking, is good if you are visiting nearby Harpers Ferry. Would recommend.

We loved it. We will return. The Innkeeper was helpful with ideas of what to do and what's in town. The breakfast was very nice. My husband was hesitant- never stayed in a BB but loved it. Very clean and right in town.

Etal was a nice lady and a friendly hostess, but thats where it ends. The whole concept of bed and breakfast is to have an exceptional bed and a memorable breakfast. Let's start with the bed. It was way to soft. The room was spacious, but the bathroom was outdated. There were absolutely no amenities in the house like we're used to either. It was like we were staying in someone's spare bed room. Very.... uninspiring. Moving on to the other "B". Breakfast. Breakfast consisted of what would amount to being served a continental breakfast you would get at any cheap 2 star motel. A piece of dry toast, a half piece of ham, 8 grapes, 3 apple slices ( in which I found a hair, but just kept my mouth shut ) and 2 slices of cantaloupe. It was so bad,, we didn't bother to stay for breakfast on Sunday. Don't think i could have handled that much disappointment 2 days in a row. Not at all what you would or should expect for $162.50 a night. Etal, your a nice lady, but you really need to take it up several notches if you want to be taken seriously as a B & B. As of today, you've lost my future business.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights. The host Ethel was very friendly and hospitable. She served us breakfast everyday and a Peruvian dinner one of the nights. She was able to accommodate my food allergies too. The room was quaint and bed was comfortable. The town is a short walk away. There are several hikes along the Appalachian Trail and a few great local restaurants nearby. We highly recommend staying here and will be back to visit in years to come.
